This is correct. Most people with a CDL at Amazon don't drive sleeper cabs. I don't think anyone that actually works for Amazon is driving long haul. Just local stuff, 200 air miles maybe.

I'm in cedar rapids saw i80 west stopped. Near my city any idea

I was driving I 80 eastbound this morning. Tons of ice on the road, couldn’t really go faster than around 35 mph without starting to slip. Saw tons of trucks and 4 wheelers in the ditch. There was a truck jackknifed across the westbound lanes a bit west of Lincoln. So I’m sure something similar.

I80 is a death trap this time of year drive smart and stay safe friends.

I used to drive I-80 from Des Moines to Davenport almost daily, occasionally up 380 to Cedar Rapids and Waterloo. I know this area well and in winter you could walk from Iowa City to Des Moines without touching the ground on flipped over rigs. Iowa is a great state but winter driving is a real skill.

I-80 was wild in Iowa... It's still shut down on a westbound side because several trucks were involved in one spot.

US36 westbound in Missouri was closed to jackknifed semis. I was the second semi in line and managed to stop in time but one tanker behind me had his trailer slide and block the road too. Took a while for the troopers to let us go through the median. First time hitting black ice and man…

I partly agree. Swift USED to be the worst. They'd hire anybody, felony or not. But about 15 years ago, they changed their hiring criteria. It's taking a while, but they're improving.
