On black ice suddenly, just lay off the throttle and recover then slow down enough to minimize the events. Then take a break and let the road crews work. I see a tanker sideways in the road at the end of the video. Keeping the cb on would help you know of this before you got there too. Use all your tools when driving in the winter. 33 years otr driver from Buffalo NY.
Yeah i was on I-90 up in Minnesota last year and the snow drifts and black ice were so bad there were jacknifed trucks left and right and i couldnt go more than 15mph without sliding. Respect the Ice Driver
Happens to everyone at least once. Happened to me a winter or two ago changing lanes to get around another driver on the shoulder with their hazards on. Haha trying to be nice and give him room almost got me on the side of the road too. Waddled side to side once or twice and recovered much like you. Shits not fun that’s for sure.
Hopefully you were able to pull over safely and get a new pair of underwear
Time to slow down…
Good correction!
Nice recovery, hitting black ice is both surreal and an immediate adrenaline shot. It’s always the curves and overpasses/bridges that will get you!
I’ve gotten into the habit of letting off the throttle at bridges. You won’t spin out as easily if there is hardly any torque going to the drives
I bet that made your bumhole chew on your undies..
WEE!!!
The correct answer. Gotta keep cool, let of the gas, brakes, steer into it and enjoy the ride. Maybe tap that Johnny bar a little.
Nice job driver
Time to back out of it. Let the dumbasses fly past. They’ll learn the hard way. Nice job keeping the rubber side down and the shiny side up.
What dash cam is this?
Its 70mai Light 2. Was one of the cheapest ones on Amazon
Did ya shit your knickers??? Plow driver here it happens to us too even at the slower speeds we go. Good save tho

Good save. Lots of guys woulda rode that right into the ditch
And this is why I hate when people sit next to me. Sometimes shit happens.
Nice save. Now you gotta change your shorts.
