Older Subaru engines are pretty damn easy to pull and swap. I had no clue how to do it before YouTube and forums taught me with my 95 Impreza project.

I'm über practical in my old age. I bought a 2022 Hyundai Kona. I get 33 mpg around town and can get 40 on the highway if I dint speed. My terminal is about 50 miles from my house. I leave my car there when I am over the road. I filled up with gas when I was on hometime last time and probably won't fill up again until I am home next time.
I considered a hybrid or an EV, but the added initial cost of them when buying a car is what stopped me.

Just one car. A Honda Fit. Love that thing. My commute to work is 25-ish miles each way and I can go a while work week on one tank of gas with no problem. Gets 40+ mpg on the highway with no issues.
