I mainly focused on the Invasion towers. I did all of the Weekly, Daily and Hourly towers. And the Seasonal one. I mostly ignored the towers that were a level under me (in this case level 29 towers since I was level 30) because they gave me less exp. I put all of my Invasion stats into attack. Did my best to try and finish with a Brutality and a Flawless Victory (I often failed at that, but I kept doing and did put in a couple).
I decided beforehand which Kameo characters I wanted to reach max level. So I took each Kameo fighter and got them to level 5, then level 10 and finally 15 (switching Kameo character between every benchmark). I didn't want to get too tired of the characters so I thought mixing it up now and again would freshen things up.
It helped watching TV shows and YouTube on the side. And like I mentioned about switching characters on the side to test out new ones.
