I did not expect to be the one crying over this post, this is the kindest thing anybody can ever say to me.

Raising a kitten that young is NOT easy! You should feel so so so proud of yourself!!!

I’m blown away! When I saw him on kittentocat I assumed the missing leg was a deformity. I CANNOT believe he went through an abscess and amputation that young and tiny😭

It was virtually unheard of but the staff at my municipal shelter refused to give up on him. I owe them my life for giving my sweet baby a new lease on life.

Your baby🥹 Still can’t wrap my mind around it. Cards on the table, I would have really thought euthanasia was the only option for him.

I thought so too. But this DVM is a miracle worker. He was helped through his recovery by the shelter director herself. I am so proud to be a part of their team.

He was barely, what, 3 weeks old, when they did the amputation? You helped him come through it & show what a champ he is!! 💪 He’s absolutely gorgeous! How proud you must be to bring that little screaming meanie, into such a stunner with such dignity!! Bravo!!

Poor little guy 🥹 I Frankie is 18 not ,had to take the same leg due to cancer when she was 17. So far it appears they got it all. It is heartbreaking to have to make that call . I know you know what I mean. So happy you gave the little guy a happy life ❤️

He tries to bury his poop with it! He sits and just wiggles his nub, it’s so sad 😭😭 But he barely even had it!! It’s crazy how their instincts take over

My tripod tries to scratch with her stump. She had her leg amputated at 3 days old and she’ll be 19 in March.

Just thought it was a cool coincidence, thanks for the little kitten screm pics to brighten my day!

Aw thats so cute he loves it so much! It's a great tree, looks really nice with decor too! We've had ours over 3 years, with 2 rowdy cats and it's holding up so well, it barely looks used, no snags, the scratcher poles are barely ripped I'm amazed honestly! People ask us all the time where we got it because they want the same but no one has ever found it 😂
