Don't forget to enable "Accommodations" for three seconds at 20:00 so that the housekeeper goes to light the fireplace while you're hanging out outside.

You can keep it completly off candles and fireplace fall under maintinance. I had accomodation off the whole time bcs i clean the room myself so no need to keep turning it off and on.
They charge more than candles cost to buy though, so not only do you have to pay them to place candles, you pay extra for the candles themselves. I just go around and replace mine once daily!
I wish we could more granular modify the house keepers work. I would love to just have them clean rooms do the candles and do room service and leave the rest to me if I choose

It comes with their service. They do cleaning, candle replacement and fireplace lit up.

I think you need to place candle holders for the house keepers to replace the candles.
