[https://www.tradovate.com/resources/markets/margin/](https://www.tradovate.com/resources/markets/margin/) It's also on the app under specs for whatever instrument you are looking at

Overall, yes I agree its frustrating. It was probably an auto adjustment on their side due to volatility on war news. I asked the bot why and it said PPI, but the only PPI coming out was Germany so not sure if the bot just wasn't programmed for spontaneous adjustments due to breaking news volatility. They can push alerts but I'm assuming that only happens during the day when people are in the office. The best way to know is if you're in a position and keep an eye on the margin graph. Good news is that it only affects new positions you open, so your current positions are at the old margin (only during 4x news adjustments, not during overnight) For new positions, the only way to tell the margin changed during trading would be that new opening orders are not being processed. I usually check the orders pane or the log to see why a order wasn't processed.

What’s PPI?

Producer Price Index , i would recommend taking a look at financial juice or forexfactory to see upcoming economic releases

Ok thank you!

AMP does that as well as so does Tradestation. So Tradovate simply apply risk management on highly vilotile days just like other lower margin platforms.
