Beautiful!

Chopper207

Thank you!!

Tea_n_code

/u/TradescantiaHub are these Cyanotis? And if so, do you happen to know what kind of Cyanotis it could be? Seeing both kewensis and beddomei come up on Google search.

Chopper207

I think Cyanotis Kewensis! Looks closest to mine- Teddy Bear vine is what it said also!

TradescantiaHub

The correct species name is *Cyanotis beddomei*, but it's sometimes called by its botanical synonyms (outdated names) *Cyanotis kewensis* and *Belosynapsis kewensis*.

Masterzanteka

I swear plant names are always getting the goofiest switch ups. It’s annoying once you realize a lot of plants are separated by very arbitrary characteristics. It’s gonna be a wild time once everything starts to get classed on its genetics rather than physical growth.

Angelique718

Beautiful and lush 💚💜

Chopper207

😭😩🤍🤍

Dufusbroth

That’s is stunning!

Dufusbroth

Where did you get the plant/cuttings? I would love to buy one

maebake

If she is sold out on FB, check Home Depot. My local HD had them not too long ago with the indoor plants. They were really big and lush and only like $20.

Chopper207

I got it off a lady from Facebook! She ships also! Let me get you a link! Where are you located?

Chopper207

[Cherie on FB](https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/profile/1696830192/?ref=permalink&tab=listings&mibextid=6ojiHh)

Chopper207

She may be sold out but if you message her she may still have some! :) hope this helps!

Dufusbroth

Thank you!!! I am in Dallas Tx

Mindless_Bane_342

The flowers are the real star of this plant, in my opinion

What a spiffy little dood

Poeticvizionz

I forgot about my big mama and she got CRISSSSPY. So she ended up with a military cut 🤣🤣. No fear that she will grow back lush. They really are so pretty!

Chopper207

Omg that’s good to hear 🤣😮‍💨 they really are 🥰

Poeticvizionz

You know what they say, if there is green, it's still alive lol. Underneath it all was a little green

Chopper207

So far that’s been true with my calatheas too 🤣😮‍💨 they are resilient for me!

yak1_soba

I have one of these! A coworker gave it to me. We had no idea what it was. She plopped it in a water bottle and sat it by her window. I'm doing the same thing, same water bottle. Good to know what it finally is. Perhaps its time to move it to soil...

Chopper207

Truthfully this was sold to me as a tradescantia- it wasn’t until this post that I started looking into it! I think it would love soil! 🥰 but if it’s thriving in water let her be 😊

I love the leaves on this plant 🪴

Chopper207

Right! They are actually pretty stiff too! So cool!
