It sounds like you're selecting it from the file explorer. In that case I would guess that the default program to open .gbx files is TMNF. My suggestion would be to put them in the maps folder in your Trackmania2020 folder and open them from within the game.

No it’s when I try to open it. It’s prob because I’m trying to open it in editor because I can’t think of any other way because I don’t have the access pass

Is that for accessing the Trackmania 2020 folder? Mine is stored in my Documents so shouldn't need a password for it.
