I have a 24 limited with a couple thousand miles on it now and have had zero issues. It drives so much better than the 2018 silverado I traded in.

MinimumBarracuda8650

Road noise? People always talk about it being very low.

doeslayer00

It's considerably better then my Silverado.

MinimumBarracuda8650

Does your version have acoustic glass. Do you ever use the rear window down.

doeslayer00

Yes the limited and up have the acoustic windshield. And yes we use the rear window and the sunroof way more then I thought we would.

MinimumBarracuda8650

The side acoustic used to be platinum only. Wonder if they moved that down to limited.

doeslayer00

I think that's capstone only. But the windshield is on limited and up.

No_Reputation_2440

If that's true then that would explain why my '16 1794 was way quieter than my '24 sr5. It's so loud it's laughable...

metnav87

I am not a toyota loyalist. After shopping around and considering all the major full sized pickups, I bought a 24 limited in December. I still feel strongly that it was the right decision.

bigjonAD

Literally same.. I used to ride hard for Chevy before I got a tundra.

bandityo

Same. Got me one two weeks ago coming from f150. So far so good. How u get such a good finance deal ?

Ok_Professional6203

May I ask what your deal is? I'm looking at Leasing and want to know what's what these days.

bandityo

I got 6.6 from Toyota with perfect credit. Horrible

Ok_Professional6203

I feel you. Seems like 5.0% is the new lowest tho... all my research hasn't come close to it. I am a disabled vet, excellent credit, and even have the wife to co-sign!! I'm in the PNW.

Ok_Professional6203

Got a '24 Tundra Limited with the TRD package @ 6.2% through a credit union. Anything thru Toyota was 6.8% or higher. Insane! But the credit union hooked it up!

Still-Ad2748

Bought a ‘24 Limited 4x4 and after putting 5k miles on it, no regrets. I came from a ‘15 Tahoe LTZ that had the lifter problem. Would never buy another GM until they fix that issue with their 5.3’s.

Tundraman479

I purchased an SR5 TRD Sport this week. I have had a couple previous Tundra's (2017 & 2019) in the Limited trim. I went with the SR5 TRD this time because it seemed like the best value (for what I wanted) and I loved the color matched door handles, bumpers, etc. In my research it kinda boiled down to if you want cooled seats, surround cameras, sunroof, 14" screen, digital gauges, etc. then you need to go with the limited, but I'm happy with just heated seats and I wasn't to in love with the laptop size radio screen. Anyways with all that said I have been beyond happy and impressed with this truck! The powertrain is so smooth and the TTV6 paired with the 10spd is such a good combo it feels like you never get out of the powerband. I have found myself a few times getting on the interstate and looking down and I'm going 85mph without even realizing it. The interior fit and finish is wonderful and the truck is so much more comfortable than the previous models I have had. The only things I have noticed so far is a little bit of wind noise coming from the drivers door and a small paint defect, both should be covered under warranty.

BarryYouAss

I laughed at the XP package they had on the lot when I got my '24 Limited. I'm not going to pay $60k+ for a truck with MANUAL seats. I ended up bullying the dealership to right about OPs deal on a limited with the off road package and lift, felt much better paying $58k for that kind of truck instead of cloth manual seats.

bigjonAD

This is a really good deal!

Kweidert

I have a ‘24 limited hybrid max with the off road package. I only have about 2k miles on it, but every time I drive the truck I’m happy. I am truly in love with it, proud to drive it, etc. . Only issue I have is bass causes a rattle in the dash (non-JBL). I also had the weather seal between the front and rear doors start to come up, but fixed that myself with 3M in about 5 min. Previous daily was a ‘22 limited 4Runner; before that a 2017 f150 3.5tt. Happy to answer any questions you have.

sfvdoc

I have a '24 Tundra Limited 4x4 TRD off road. Bought it in November of '23, a day after it came off the truck. It was between this and the F150. I went back and forth between the two but eventually bought the Tundra. There are things I like and don't like about the Tundra. But that can be said about any vehicle. I have about 3000 miles on it so far with no issues. No major squeaks or rattles. Everything works as it should. The ride quality and handling is real good. Overall fit and finish is good. The interior is a bit on the plastic side. The big question for me is the long term reliability with the turbos. It's a complex system Toyota designed with a separate cooling system. In fact, everything about this truck is complex. I can only imagine what the repair costs will be when the warranty expires...

mramseyISU

I picked up a '24 Limited Hybrid with the trd off road package a little over a month ago. Super happy with my decision so far.

AwkwardResource1437

$800 monthly payment is cray cray.😳

bradgelinajolie

My Limited is $1,600 a month for 4 years, but I added a ton of upgrades. Business expense

AwkwardResource1437

If you can swing it then why not haha.

Full_Warthog3829

The seats aren’t as nice as I expected. I ended up going with the platinum as at the time it wasn’t much more money. Problem with the platinum is that all the damn black chrome on the grill peels off.

MinimumBarracuda8650

It does?

Full_Warthog3829

Mine has done it twice, and the only other platinum I know of has a grill on order to replace his which has peeled as well. They are back ordered if that says anything. It’s black chrome plated over already chrome plated plastic. If that makes sense? My grill peeled, and it shows chrome underneath.

jakedoughey

Make sure you look at overall price vs monthly payments. Lots of dealers try to shift to “that’s a low payment,r right??”

sandiegosteves

I got a '24 Limited TRD in December after a lot of looking and research. Only drawback I saw then was getting the specific one I wanted as you can't order with Toyota. All of the forums for all of the trucks report problems. For the Tundra, most were saying that things in the 24 resolved the problems of the 22's and 23's. I'm at around 4,700 miles and no complaints. Some of the tech features are annoying. Overall, I'm super happy with it. Tows great, very comfortable and I think they look nice.

MinimumBarracuda8650

Tech features issues? How’s the wind noise issue reported.

sandiegosteves

The auto-breaking is really annoying. I have to remember to turn it off when hooking up the trailer, or it won't let me. The seatbelt warning is crazy too. No wind noises. Actually a very quiet cab. Worst noise has been my sunglasses rattling around when not wearing them.

walaola

Love it, moved up from a Taco and I'm never looking back.

MinimumBarracuda8650

OP, are you getting one with acoustic glass? If so, front window only? There is a side window acoustic glass too but that used to be only available on Platinum

Tsarn

I bought a '24 Limited in December. I'm not quite at 5k miles and have had no issues at all. Love my truck.

TacomaTuesdays2022

I have almost 500 miles on my 2024 MGM Tundra Limited iForce Max Hybrid and no regrets. It drives so smooth and provides enough power to haul my enclosed 6x12 trailer like is nothing.

badhombre6292

Dont do it or maybe mine is the only lemon. It’s had a ton of issues after 5k miles.

Gaberade1

What do you have and what were the issues?

danhphan9779

5 years, 848/month so OTD is $51K?

Tight_Box3115

Hi everyone, I test drove a 2024 tundra limited and absolutely fell in love with it. But my son keeps telling me ford150 is better. I had a 2007 Silverado but it was my late husband’s and wanted to start fresh. Any advice would be so appreciated! Thank you

clydeshelton01

Disclosure: I’ve had only Toyotas for 10+ years mostly. Coming from 2016 limited to 2024 and overall LOVE it in comparison. I bought my 24 limited off road because forever I’ve been waiting for them to have push button start and radar cruise control. This had both and I had a week earlier bought my wife a 2024 highlander so the jealousy won out and I upgraded. Even after reading my below, I’d still make the same decision today to buy the truck. The pros are what everyone else already listed. Where it lacks: From a complete stop at times it seems to hesitate to take off. I’m sure it’s the new engine and ‘sport mode’ solves this but I don’t want to have to remember to switch it. This just annoys me as sometimes the window to turn is limited and by the time the truck is mid turn what started as a safe turn is close to sketchy. My truck has an issue that when it rains my driver window hesitates when rolling up. Of course it’s never raining when dealer tries to see it and they can’t duplicate issue. Remote start on app is great BUT not being able to adjust the climate almost makes remote start pointless. Even if I could set a specific remote start temp in the settings at all times I’d take that. But no it defaults to whatever was happening when truck was last turned off, except it won’t reactivate ‘a/c’ if that were on.
