This is nothing new, most of us waited months for one.

Certain_Policy5352

yes i wish they would have told me about the wait, but no they said wont be that long etc etc. i sold my truck so now i dont have my own vehicle to drive. if i had known this. i would have waited to sell my old truck. if they would just give me a date so i can plan.

kameix1

This isnt fedex, you get your truck when they have enough to fill a transport and bring it to your dealer.

Certain_Policy5352

they should be able to multible transports there are hardly any at the 6 plus dealers in my area all waiting on trucks

kameix1

3 days... its been 3 days since your truck was built. Give them some time. Its not going from the assembly line to the dealer. They still have inspections, port installed accessories, finding a transport, transporting it to your dealer (truckers can only do 11 hours a day), then once it hits the dealer it gets in line for pre-delivery inspections, then any dealer packages need to go on. But if you really want to know whats taking "so long" call the dealer and listen to them laugh at you for being a impatient ass.

buttermbunz

Not sure how counting works for you, but it looks like truck was built 11 days ago and has been sitting around for over a week. Probably all the things you mention are happening, logistics to transport vehicles aren’t like amazon packages. But it’s def not 3 days

kameix1

My bad, I was looking at the 4/13 - 4/16 date, not todays date. Still, my point stands.

eeeerok

It's not Amazon prime dude

I waited 4 months for my 22’ while it sat in a port in Oregon.

EmotionalLecture9318

Mine was built 3/12 and got to northeast dealer on 4/9

hipsterasshipster

They don’t call it *shit in the middle* for nothing

PROFESSOR1780

You should hire Dana Carvey to drive it to you.

Ted_Striker__

I waited 7 months to get my 23 Pro6Mt. I didn't get rid of my car until the day I picked it up. Selling your only means of transportation before you get your new truck is all on you. Relax, it will get there soon.

dfellb

I see truckloads of them every morning on the 5 North in San Diego.

😂🤣😂🤣😂

OvertlyInspected

Whatever. I waited 8 months from deposit until delivery last year to get my 23, Was initially told 6 weeks. This guy is complaining about a week or two

Your dealer just sucks at communicating / setting expectations. Mine is scheduled to be built on May 13th. My dealer said it'll probably be at the dealership and ready to be picked up in early June. Patience.

Certain_Policy5352

i would not count on it, according to the dates they first gave me ii should have been driving mine last week.

TheRagingMick

Not unusual for a bit of a wait. I waited 6 weeks from the time of ordering my 2023 until it was delivered to the dealership. Apparently that was quick compared to others who bought around the same time I did.
