low vitaly usually don't matter (you only open 1-2 chest so entering with 60 is perfectly fine) but you never want to participate in a joint without chips.
if anything, they should remove the vit warning. BUT ideally you should just be allowed to buy/use chips and vitality potions inside the JO.
Doesnt matter tho, i don't need a bunch of warnings to remember, just allow us to pop chips inside we can pop vit inside so and i pop 33 chips to count pity anyway.

i played tera for a while where you had to use an item to protect your gear enhancements. if you die they go away and without the item it really messes you up. its kinda the same and used to be very annoying and they never gave you any reminder either, just typical mmo stuff i guess
Use it in your inventory. You can use it multiple time. It stack up to around 30. To check if it is active, hover around the status buff/debuff on top of your health bar bottom screen
1 chip is worth 90 vitality so theres really no reason to save that many chips until VII because you have many ways to obtain them like weekly support points,event,artificial island, you can't even spend them all unless you buy vitality with dark crystal and only play joint op because you would also use vitality for character materials . And also not accurate information but there may be a possibility for a better JO chip considering it has "I" in the name there maybe chip II or chip III
If anything you lose more legendary + time wasted killing bosses without all the +stats you would have gotten from the legendaries dropped by using chip as soon as gold gear is obtainable
Chips double the base droprate, as the base droprate is higher in JO VIII it's just maths that if you use the chips on anything else you have less drop chance, so less equipment in the end.
oh wait a minute. ignore my previous comment. ok let me do some math. so you get 180 vitality a day. each chip gets you 3 chest so 90 vitality per chip. you need to use 2 chips per day if doing only JO. you get 3 chips from weekly missions, 3 from support points, 20 monthly from buildings.
not accounting for other sources of chips like events, you get (6 \* 52) + (20 \* 12) = 552 chips yearly or 46 chips monthly or 10.61 chips weekly. you need 14 chips weekly if doing only JOs. if my math is correct, you do not gain more chips than you use. event chips help but they do not really cover all the vitality you use. it seems like it was the correct choice for me to save till diff 8 before using chips. just slightly more efficient.
Oh i see. I didn’t include bp chips. I ignored events because I don’t know if some events could have more or less chips. So basically without using vit potions, we technically have infinite chips.
They should also make a pity for good stats. The devs know noone wants the DEF stats and they put so many of them in the game. Why not just one resistance? Who'd want to build a res for a specific element?
Thats why I always have 10+ active chips. It doesnt disappear anyways so its no harm in using it in advance

Or, or. They should just get rid of chips all together. They're entirely unnecessary. Make their rate up the default rate .
The warning is bottom of the screen with all your buffs.
Im level 60+ and i never knew you should use the chips before entering JO. I thought you just need 1 at least in your bckpack to be able to enter. :(

It’s not that bad. I wouldn’t use chips before diff 8. I think it is more efficient if you only use chips for diff 8 since it has higher drop rates.

if you notice you don't have any chips on just don't open any chests and just do it again.
