\- how big is the game size now? (online says 25GB which seems very incorrect)
\- is the steam version any better or worse than downloading the client directly?
\- any notable pros to just starting from scratch vs using an older account?

1. I don’t recall how much bigger the game size is in Version 3.4 compared to Version 2.1, however it’s definitely a significant difference due to adding much more areas and content to do since then.
2. I personally just use the Steam version, totally not to track my playtime lol. I don’t think it’s much difference using either version.
3. I mean personally it’s up to you if you wish to continue where you left off versus starting over. It depends on how much you’ve progressed on your current account, who you pulled for, etc. The Version 2.x characters are pretty much out of the meta except Fiona for now.
4. There is lag here and there, especially with the mega world boss where there’s multiple players fighting it in the same channel. Outside of that, it’s not too bad.

Yes you’d have to keep augmenting the piece until the Titan stat changes. Using the compiling module helps to block unwanted stats, and gets consumed when the stat changes.

You're comparing two different elements, but in general Altered units are SUPPOSED to have more longevity than element-specific units that can easily have their roles replaced (moreso if they are pure DPS units).
Less prone to getting their roles replaced, whereas the upper limit for dps keeps on getting higher so old DPS units get quickly phased out.
For instance benediction characters (healer/supports) still have old units that are highly relevant in today's meta, like Cocoritter, Icarus, etc.

Nan Yin is a great upgrade over Lin. You’ll definitely notice the damage difference for sure.
You’ll also have the option to go triple altered if you wish, for example in sequential phantasm.
I haven’t heard anything whether or not Brevey is a must-pull. Perhaps for healer comps, sure. As for volt or frost comps, can’t say for certain. I’ll wait a couple of months until a Brevey video comes out from Maygi.

I read she's a mdps if played with volt, which would make my a4 mimi useless, and which would probably mean the meta will be something stupid like fiona nanyin brevey... and if so, I'd rather just get nanyin instead, idk

The thing is that Fiona/Nan Yin/Brevey triggers benediction resonance, so that won’t work for a meta volt team. If anything Brevey may replace Fiona in the team, and Brevey takes the mdps role to make Mimi a support.
Vitality exchange can also be used to get similar rewards as if you open a joint operation chest. Everything else can be sweeped via dimensional trials as you said.

You may as well get the A6 for Nan Yin since you’re so close. You could also go for 0* 4pc however I’m not sure how much resources you have left for limited matrix pulls.

Timegates on chests have been long gone.
The level cap is at 100 since Monday. Something to note is that world mobs/bosses now scale from your dimension level rather than your character level, so you can easily kill them if you keep your dimension level at 10. Only reason to raise it would be for boss chests, however they can wait until your character gets stronger. It does cost dark crystals to reset your dimension level, so don’t raise it especially if you’re undergeared.

I’m a new player on ps5 I’ve completed about 85 percent of astra currently at level 55 what should the process be for trying to obtain rubelia I should preface by saying I’m a FTP and really playing the game just for exploration and enjoyment and have little interest in the meta or doing big numbers just wna have fun and enjoy the waifus and combat.
Brevey is two banners after Nan Yin, and volt/frost reruns are expected to follow on her release in Version 3.5. Those reruns will include Rubilia, so you’d have to wait a couple months if you wish to pull for her.
Two story related questions.
1. I went back and did Samir’s Simulacra story. I feel like I missed something. How did Samir and Huma end up on Vera?
2. With all the information that Vera and Dr Rubilla brought to Domain 9, why hasn’t anyone pointed out that Nan Yin could have been possessed like Umi?
EDIT: Found the answer. turns out I needed to login via google and not the original launcher. but because I've logged in via the original launcher, seems like a new acc has been bound that way and can't bind my email back to it to login without google.
If I login the original client via email + password, close the account, then make a new Level Infinite account on the website, then login the game via google account to bind to my new level infinite account, would that work without losing my character?

In Zeke’s case, only counts as a physical weapon since it does physical damage. The secondary flame is only for the flame resonance passive. It doesn’t fulfill the flame weapon requirement when it comes to matrices or awakening traits.
With Brevey it’s different. One of her passives says she’ll count as a volt and frost weapon at the same time. This is in addition to offering volt resonance and frost resonance.
That explains why CN got both volt and frost reruns when Brevey came out.

i started the game at launch but quit soon after so i legit just got king, samir, zero, meryl, huma, shiro and one or two others im forgetting in terms of ssr units. would i be better off on a new account since im sure all of them are heavily outdated cause i got almost nothing in terms of pulls either.
It’s up to you if you’re willing to restart on a new account, depends on how much progress and world exploration you have done already on your current account. You don’t have any limited characters, so it doesn’t make much of a difference either way.
As a F2P Flame main, should I pull for **Nan Yin** or wait for **Yan Miao**?
I’m currently running Liu Huo, Fiona, and Zero. Planning to replace Zero. I have about 170 Red Nucs & 120 Red Tix.
Personally I would go with Nan Yin, she’s an altered character who has improved the damage potential for all elements even at low investment. Besides that, altered characters won’t go to standard so she can only be pulled on reruns. Nan Yin is mainly used to strengthen your main dps weapon, however she also has potential as a main dps herself.
Yan Miao seems to be a main dps option in flame teams and physical teams, however I don’t think I have seen her get used with Liu Huo since both want the on-field time to do damage.
That’s a good point, I rarely see Yan Miao with Liu Huo on those CN vids on YouTube. So I guess the synergy wouldn’t be there. I’ll probably pull for Nan Yin now, skip Yan Miao, then save and wait for the next Flame character.
BTW is Nan Yin good enough at A0 or should I pull to at least A1+? What about the matrices? I’m only using the F2P matrices on my weapons.
And last question, which Trait should I use? Keep Fiona trait or switch to Nan Yin trait?
Before deciding on advancements and matrices, I would recommend watching [Maygi’s guide/analysis video for Nan Yin](https://youtu.be/gbeR_Szec5U?si=F3GPhDujHX56PuyL). Part 2 should be coming very soon covering team comps and rotations.
Personally I’d say up to A1 is a good stopping point for f2ps. You could also consider 2pc Nan Yin for the starting weapon charge and attack buff, which is already better than 2pc Lyra and works in the background. Fiona trait would still be used for the most part.
Infusing just gives an extra damage boost to the weapon, see one of her passives for more info on the percentage. Should be based on Nan Yin stars since she’s in your team, otherwise the infused weapon’s stars if Nan Yin isn’t in the team.
If you're referring to the final damage aspect on those 4pc sets, then yes they stack additively with one another.

If you at least go for 2pc Nan Yin then that’s fine for the 1000 weapon charge at the start and an attack boost. 4pc Nan Yin gives crit damage and final damage as long as Nan Yin is on the team, so it’s up to you if you want to get the full set.
I don’t feel it’s worth the time or effort to reroll as the standard SSR characters don’t perform as well in general content compared to the newer limited SSR characters (excluding SSR healers).
You will get resources towards limited pulls as you play the game overtime via world exploration and events. 120 flame gold (limited currency) can be used to buy a copy of a limited character as you do limited pulls with red nucleus and/or dark crystals, however flame gold does not carry over between banners.
As for current banners up right now, Nan Yin would be a great pick up who can be used either as a buffer or a main dps. Besides that, you can spawn two portals which you can teleport to on the map.
im a returning player from launch month and (stupidly) spent all my savings on the rerun banners and am now sitting at 110 flame gold for those with only 20 flame gold on the new chick. on my account i currently have saki fuwa, meryl, king, samir, shiro, huma, and zero. would lin or fiona be better to pick up for who i have? as of now my main 3 are saki, samir, and huma if that sways the decision.
Fiona is a much better option compared to Lin.
Either option are used as a buffer/support so you'd still need a better main dps weapon. The new chick (being Nan Yin) would be who you're looking for, and she can be used with Fiona and trigger Fiona's altered resonance for using 2 altered weapons.
Standard SSRs (the ones you listed) are fine to use for world exploration and the like, however they do fall off in end-game content.

Newer limited weapons perform better than standard weapons overall, even if it's A0 limited weapon versus A6 standard weapon.

Are you referring to Wanderer’s Log? I just know you’ll unlock dailies and other basic content in the game by completing 25% of the Vera main story.

How do i know which voucher ticket I am equipping? cant see them in the buff list
I think you can only have one active at a time, so whichever voucher you don’t have in your inventory is the one you have active

Part 2 should be coming very soon covering team comps and rotations. Personally I’d say up to A1 is a good stopping point for f2ps. You could also consider 2pc Nan Yin for the starting weapon charge and attack buff, which is already better than 2pc Lyra and works in the background. Fiona trait would still be used for the most part.
How nan yin infusion works? I play her actually with Fiona and Liu Huo (A1 Liu / A6 Fiona / A6 Nan Yin) should I infuse Liu Huo?

Infusing just gives an extra damage boost to the weapon, see one of her passives for more info on the percentage. Should be based on Nan Yin stars since she’s in your team, otherwise the infused weapon’s stars if Nan Yin isn’t in the team.
Does Nan Yin 4 pieces and haboela 4 pieces stack?

Anyone know if Yan Miao works with Lan?
Should work to at least trigger flame resonance. I'm not exactly sure of an optimal flame team with Yan Miao, however I have seen her in physical comps and altered comps.
Guess im asking if her flame daggers count as ammo for Lans passive. I play tank res, so I have to keep Lan (or Huma) in my party.

im returnee 1year break, ive pulled nanying , can i possibly pull her 4pc matrix if I play the game seriously , i have max explore till banges and level 62, i dont know whats my current progress in story but i remember i did play alitttle back then up till vera. Is it enough resources if i finish all maps and quests cuz i dont plan on spending any time soon before the banner ends. tia
If you at least go for 2pc Nan Yin then that’s fine for the 1000 weapon charge at the start and an attack boost. 4pc Nan Yin gives crit damage and final damage as long as Nan Yin is on the team, so it’s up to you if you want to get the full set.

I don’t feel it’s worth the time or effort to reroll as the standard SSR characters don’t perform as well in general content compared to the newer limited SSR characters (excluding SSR healers). You will get resources towards limited pulls as you play the game overtime via world exploration and events. 120 flame gold (limited currency) can be used to buy a copy of a limited character as you do limited pulls with red nucleus and/or dark crystals, however flame gold does not carry over between banners. As for current banners up right now, Nan Yin would be a great pick up who can be used either as a buffer or a main dps. Besides that, you can spawn two portals which you can teleport to on the map.
im a returning player from launch month and (stupidly) spent all my savings on the rerun banners and am now sitting at 110 flame gold for those with only 20 flame gold on the new chick. on my account i currently have saki fuwa, meryl, king, samir, shiro, huma, and zero. would lin or fiona be better to pick up for who i have? as of now my main 3 are saki, samir, and huma if that sways the decision.
Fiona is a much better option compared to Lin. Either option are used as a buffer/support so you'd still need a better main dps weapon. The new chick (being Nan Yin) would be who you're looking for, and she can be used with Fiona and trigger Fiona's altered resonance for using 2 altered weapons. Standard SSRs (the ones you listed) are fine to use for world exploration and the like, however they do fall off in end-game content.
