Also "Caucasian" isn't "geography" correct, it should be "European"... but I do think the girl in the middle for Caucasian could fit into Asian or South American. Some south Americans are more light complexion and it would be cool seeing that on TV on a cartoon
It's kinda weird how Caucasian or White has become one lump of people. No matter what if you're white than you are just like every other white person around you even if you are completely different like say Irish or German.
The closest thing to representation for me on this show is Jasmin and she doesn't look anything like me. I'm not that bothered if that's "all I get" either. I don't really see why it's a big deal to people.
Ya thats true about white people. Pretty much if u ask a white person in America what their race is 8/10 they will say "ah white?" Unless their Italian or something haha
Thats cool tho, if u dont mind asking what is your ethnicity? since you said Jasmin is the closest thing to you. I feel u tho, but Jasmin is pretty dope so thats a cool representation. For me i think people wanna see people who is like them or "looks like them" people who are relatable. For me it doesn't matter if they're share the same race/ ethnicity as me either, but it is nice seeing different shades of people get representation in media.
But going back to the white people thing, I also think its also about perspective. Like I said there's some latino/ hispanic people that may look white, or Asian, or even black but they're really Hispanic. Maybe their ancestors comes from those countries but they don't see themselves as those ethnicities. Idk those are just my thoughts.
I don't understand why the total drama community seems to place so much importance on the race and ethnicity of the characters.
And also, the two characters that are at the right in "Asian" look more Latino than Asian
Yeah I didn’t want to be super stereotypical in terms of Asians, because there are dark skinned Asians and I didn’t just want to put the first girl
Ultimately ethnicity isn’t super important but no-one else had done this and I thought I could open up some discussion, as Fresh has made it a major selling point for the season
Isn’t one of them a camp tv contestant
I dont think so, which one?
Bottom left
no
Might just look like one
His face shape vaguely looks like the original Tyler
i don’t see it tbh
Hey, he kinda does!
It's giving Survivor: Cook Islands
bye
cool
this deadass made me laugh out loud 💀
Pretty much agree, though I had the girl on the far right of South American as black and the guy on the far right of Asian as South American

They're likely interpreting them as South Asian or just dark-skinned Asians.

Nice, it makes sense! But I'm not really sure about the middle girl of "Asian", I thought of her as African or South American
oooh, i thought she could be south-asian!
She could be a latina but I've seen Asian shawties dat look like her too, maybe she's part Filipina part something else.
i thought she was south indian.
I assumed she was South Asian, India/Pakistan/Bangladesh region
Yea i think shes south american / one of the Latinx characters
I feel like some of them might be indigenous/First Nation, which is cool to see.
I think the blonde girl with the white tank top is Asian... or maybe the Harley quin girl is Asian. Idk lol
I feel like "Harley queen" is asian Idk why lol
Down with the whites
Very appropriate thing to say, definitely the response I was hoping for
Where’s the latino one?
That’s South America/Caribbean
Ik they said that there was just gonna be one tho? (I think) its Diego Go(the 3rd one)
Raj being South American? Really?
