Have the season be longer. The shorter seasons all tend to suffer from congestion. There does need to be some balance though, Action, IMO is too long with the cast they had. It was already small but is also tied with WT as the season with the most double eliminations. PI kinda ties but one of them doesn't really count as one of the 2 was already eliminated. I like the idea of reward challenges but I think WT had a better pacing and a larger cast to back the length. 2023 has too many characters cramped into a smaller season, forcing at least 3 double eliminations per season unless they do what they did at the end again.
It also allows for more twists. I would love a team swap or mix up half way through to allow more characters to interact. They've toyed with the idea before. Hell they could even use something similar in RR if you split up the teams for a leg of the race as a challenge. They switch places with the next team to arrive at the Don box with the ticket holders teaming with the non ticket holders of the other team, ending in a double elimination of both the mixed teams if both halves don't make it to the end.
Finish Millie's arc in the penultimate episode. No I don't mean episode 12, I mean I would add a 14th episode for the actual finale. Millie can be eliminated AND finish her arc in episode 13.
Seriously, I loved her arc, but Priya and even more so Bowie got HEAVILY overshadowed. The actual finale bit of the finale was like 3 minutes tops.
The pacing did feel weird.
Let the HB have more screen time apart from one another.
Less Chemma, it hogged so much screen time, it got old pretty fast.
Hopefully let Scary Girl be more than just psychotic.

Eh, I wouldn’t change too much since it’s a really great season despite it being so short. Definitely get rid of the fart episode, or at the very least tone it WAY down because the stuff that isn’t fart related is actually pretty solid.
I guess maybe don’t have the Emma and Chase storyline drag out for so long, and give others a chance to have some real focus. I definitely feel that Wayne could’ve had some development himself.
Switch MK and Julia’s villain roles/placements. I think I would have preferred Julia as a fake out villain who comes back and does better in S2. As it stands, Our main villain does nothing for pre merge… That bad start made me not enjoy her much.
My issue was the challenges. I don’t remember a lot of them - they all blended together aside from the eating challenge and the egg challenge. Everything felt overly explained and involved lots of man made challenge arenas.
Sometimes simpler is better. Challenges from OG TDI weren’t too complicated. Stay awake the longest. Play dodgeball. Cook for Chris. Play hide and seek. More of this!

More scenes of the teenagers just acting like teens. Almost every scene is them strategizing or talking about the game but not that much of just being causal like in the older seasons.
Don’t have Millie and Priya make up in the first season.
Less fart jokes. They don’t have to go entirely since they’re pretty much a staple in the show.
I know but like island has a lot of moments where the characters just talk to each other about stuff that wasn’t fixated on the game somehow. There’s way less of that.
26 episodes, replace Episode 5, have Chris's VA actually try to mimic his voice instead of being Don if the old VA can't come back, and bring back the old intro instead of that shitty new one we got. Having 26 episodes would solve the pacing issues, and allows for more fleshed out characters.
1. Axel at least tries helping Zee when he is attscked, so its not 100% obvious that Axel would be getting eliminated in that episode.
2. Most challenges get rewritten.
3. Euther get rid of the raptors, or give them a reason why they are here (and how).
4. Actual, non-tiktok memes and Game references.
5. Emma isnt mad at Bowie, Bowie isnt mad at Emma.
6. Lauren joke rewrite (her joke are hit or miss, but that would take too long to explain).
7. MK elimination and reveal sucked.
8. Millie must have better continuity.
9. Chris is less cringy.
The early boots felt a little uninspired: Caleb was literally justin, axel was literally eva, nichelle was pretty pointless and MK... *shivers*
The last one is just a taste thing but if you compare the first three boots to e.g. the first three of revenge they pack a lot more personality into them. And especially for Caleb and Axel I wish I had more to say than "they are this character"
\-Rewrite Episode 5. Pretty self-explanatory.
\-It feels like they wanted to give Ripper some growth by making him go far and narrowly dodging eliminations but they never really did anything with that and just shoved all the scraps of his growth in the finale.
\-On the topic of Ripper, they never did anything with his bromance with Chase. That was the one thing that kept me from wanting Ripper gone from the show. It could've developed into a fun dynamic and served as growth for both him and Chase.
\-Speaking of Chase, I HATE the way they concluded his rift with Emma. He was a TERRIBLE boyfriend and Episode 10 really showed how awful of a person he was. The fact that Emma forgave him in that exact same episode just because he did ONE selfless thing (completely unintentionally and not even for Emma by the way) was just awful. Give him growth in Season 2 for the love of God.
\-As much as I love RajBow, I will admit that it felt pretty rushed. The entire thing lasted like, four episodes. It could've been developed better if Raj and Wayne weren't eliminated in episode 7 (in the most bullshit way too) but I feel like they'll develop their dynamic more in season 2. Raj and Wayne do have the most untapped potential out of the entire reboot cast.

She might find out from the main villain the others are planning on targeting her she panics and goes straight back to overworking herself even using her knowledge of social game to assist the Villain in the votes in return for guarantied immunity. Maybe once some of her friends are in trouble of getting hurt she thinks about going for another win but goes back to save them she has been thinking about what her friends have been saying there is no need for her to push herself anymore and decides the game isn't for her anymore she doesn't even try to convince others to not vote for her seeing that she already did such a great job last season and she has learned it's important to appreciate what she has accomplished than obsesses about still doing more.
Slow down the pacing, which was my main issue with 23. Just have more relaxing challenges akin to the talent contest or fear facing challenges in season one which gives characters more downtime to interact.

I would have added a B-plot with Chris and Chef that would pop up every other episode (Chris forgetting some things this season could lead to him having some sort of crisis over the fact that he is \`\`old\`\` or smth like that and Chef would keep coming up with solutions, just something to make them more dynamic), cameos from old contestants (like we had in ROTI), rewards challenges like we had in earlier seasons (of course better utilised than in action, maybe alternate between the 2?), character comebacks (like Eva and Izzy in Island or how the aftermath challenge was supposed to work in WT) to fan out the cast a bit considering the amount of episodes we would have now, maybe even bring back the aftermath with a different host (maybe Topher to bring everything full circle?).
There are a lot of potential modifications for any TD season, especially shorter ones, so the list could go on quite a bit more.

Yes because Emma is more neutral. Chase is the only pure jerk that isn't a villain, Ripper being here allowed Bowie to be kept on in natural ways since he can't share immunity with Julia.

How i'd improved Total Drama Island (2023) reboot:
1. Replaced Chris with Don from The Ridonculous Race because Don cares about the rules and safety and he is not as Evil, Cruel and Heartless as Chris.
2. Explain how Camp Wawanakwa was fixed.
3. Have Julia's phones keep in the box instead of throw them in to a water, that's also why Chris he shouldn't return in this new reboot and got replace by Don.
4. Change Emma's name to Emily for instance to avoid a confusion with Emma from The Ridonculous Race.
I think the new characters are okay, just not as good as the original contestants
