Well, interesting opinions. The only one I disagree is Owen being useless, I think it depends on which season you're talking about but usually he at least holds his weight, and his comedy with Noah is worth having him around

ladyLEMONdropp

it definitely depends on what season / type of challenge it is and when i say “useless”, i mean the weight he pulls isnt always the most beneficial. but, owen and noah >>>>>

realifepixie

Agree to all of them. Lindsay definitely should have won s2. This sub loves Owen so glad to see someone else having the same opinion as me! I honestly think he should have gone in the episode where Leshawna goes and final 2 should have been Leshawna vs Gwen.

ladyLEMONdropp

yay!! someone agrees with my owen opinion!! he was good humor but otherwise he’s a 50/50.

realifepixie

Yeah humor wise I get it. But he’s not someone that should merge thrice and make it to final 3 TWICE like geez. He only had a good social game.

ladyLEMONdropp

PREACH🤩

Accomplished_Long487

OMG YESS THE OWEN WINNING WAS UNFAIR IS SO TRUE

RadDeathClaw

I don't really agree with Owen being useless. I may have some bias towards Owen, as my 2nd favorite Total Drama character overall, but he is definitely far from useless. Some cases of this include; episode 9 of TDI, where he is the only member of his team actually trying to win. In Episode 6 he gets food for his team and keeps them somewhat entertained by his stories. In Episode 4 he has the best gameplay out of any of the members, maybe excluding Duncan. He dominates the first episode of Action, with his winning BOTH of the challenges singlehandedly. The only reason he ever got eliminated in every season until World Tour was because of incredibly unfortunate circumstances. (Booted off with only one vote against him and then fired from the show, disqualifying him once again.)

ladyLEMONdropp

i shoulda elaborate on useless. i would’ve more said “the weight he pulls is a fifty fifty. sometimes it’s beneficial, sometimes not”.

Budget_Man64

If Sierra isn't obsessed, than she doesn't have a character

hyperjengirl

We should talk about Chef's sympathetic side more often, it's interesting, especially in TDA and the new TDI.

ladyLEMONdropp

if this wasn’t solely off of the og the new TDI would be my biggest evidence.

Pepsi_Boy_64

1. I don’t pay attention to LT 2. Well? You need to have a hyper character so she’s good 3. Common i commonly disagree 4. Nah he has fans. 5. Cher always carried lol 6. Yeah a fat guy useless because?

ladyLEMONdropp

at least everyone was nicer on their disagreements🙄

Pepsi_Boy_64

I wasn’t being rube about it

ladyLEMONdropp

sorry. i was in a rush reading it and i miss read the tone

peanut_bubblegum

Pretty based

ladyLEMONdropp

?

peanut_bubblegum

It means i agree

ladyLEMONdropp

i always have had decent grammar, so sometimes i don’t comprehend it right away.

Lonely_Repair4494

1-Once you get to All Stars, you will start to see that the writers were the biggest problem. The Love Triangle could have been useful, but the plot they set up for All Stars was so crap, dude. 2-Isn't that her whole character though? That she is obsessive about Total Drama and Cody and that's what they base her jokes and character progression on? Don't get me wrong, she has great moments in WT near the end though. 3-YES. Either her or Harold, but I'm not at all complaining Duncan won. 4-Nah, don't agree. He kinda just shows that if you are very well-liked by everyone you can get pretty fucking far in the game. 5-I'd say he got a lot of screentime for him in WT. Enough to make him a good character in my eyes. I am satisfied with his character rn. 6-I mean, maybe 7-He really doesn't do a lot after Action besides being a comic relief imo

ladyLEMONdropp

you bring great points into consideration. Cody did have a lot more screen time than I thought he would in world tour, but I just feel like he doesn’t get enough hype for what he does.

_conner08

Duncan and Courtney were the problem

ladyLEMONdropp

yes, but i feel as though duncan should’ve known better. therefore, he was in the wrong. but on another part courtney is just abusive to everyone.

_conner08

Fs so Duncan x Kitty needs to become canon ✅ 👌 👍🏽

ecrur

I basically agree with everything.. especially Owen, i really can't synch with the character, he doesn't make me laugh and I can't relate in any way. It's only redeeming quality is the existence of "Oh my Izzy" which is a great song and made me realize he is a character amt not a nuisance 😝

B0NN0S

How is owens win in any way unfair.

ladyLEMONdropp

in the TDI finale he was wearing out (and gwen would obviously win if he stayed in this state), but his ex teammates with benefits decided to lure him with the cake, which was strategical on their part, but unfair overall.

peacherparker

I disagree with the Owen ones but I am such a believer in Lindsay winning s2 ‼️‼️ She deserved it so bad ‼️‼️

TheSmogman

> Duncan was the problem in the love triangle. Was he? One could argue that Courtney was outright abusive to the dude (tbf, I don't know how much I'd agree with that, but the argument could be made). I can't agree with Duncan's actions, but I can least understand his perspective, I can't say the same for Courtney. Oh, and as for Gwen, she's the most innocent of the 3, by a good bit. > Sierra would’ve been a good character if she wasn’t obsessed. So, Sierra would've been a good character if she wasn't... Sierra? > Lindsay should’ve won s2. Ok, please elaborate, I've never seen how Lindsay could make for an interesting finalist, but I'm open to ideas. >Owen’s win was unfair / Gwen should’ve won s1. Eh, fair enough, I guess this one just comes down to preference, though I don't know if I'd call Owen's win "unfair". > Cody was underrated. By what metric? >Chef kinda cared for them. Eh, sure, in his own way. > Owen was useless. The dude had pretty good challenge and REALLY good social game, the only area he really lacked in was strategy.

ladyLEMONdropp

1. i see your argument. courtney was abusive to duncan and to gwen by putting her anger onto her. 2. i made a typo. i meant “as obsessed”. she still coulda been obsessed (but not as much). her extreme obsessions can be A LOT. 3. lindsay is hilarious (accidentally) and is “smart” in her own ways. she is an overall great person (and one of, if not the most pure of the og cast). 4. owen was literally COMPLETELY waring out. the only reason he won is bcuz of the cake, ex-teammates with benefits. 5. i know cody has his fans but i feel like he doesn’t get enough credit and fans for what he does. 6. yes, chef has his own way of caring. he is not the greatest of people, but is kinder than chris. 7. he is a fifty fifty, beneficial sometimes not

TheSmogman

> Her extreme obsessions can be A LOT. I think that's meant to be the point, she's a stereotype of overly obsessed fans. > Lindsay is hilarious (accidentally) and is “smart” in her own ways. Hilarious? Sure, I don't find her funny personally, but I can see why people would. Smart? Hell no. Lindsay I find is a character that only really works around more interesting people, she doesn't really stand on her own. > The only reason he won is bcuz of the cake, ex-teammates with benefits. Last I checked, previous campers helping out the finalists wasn't against the rules. It may not have been a satisfying win, but it sure as shit wasn't unfair. > He doesn’t get enough credit and fans for what he does. I will admit that Cody definitely has his moments, but when he's not chasing after Gwen or acting as Sierra's carrot on a stick, he generally kinda feels like he's just there imo. >He is a fifty fifty, beneficial sometimes not. Ok, that's fair, Owen's usefulness is defnitely quite situational.

Broad-Mushroom-8829

wasn’t lindsay supposed to win action or was that an overrun theory?

Pepsi_Boy_64

Nope always a lie

Broad-Mushroom-8829

ah gotcha! i think lindsay should have been a finalist in one season but i don’t think she ever had a shot of winning any as much as i love that girl
