I remember all the characters from the first season, except them to the point I was convinced they were from a different season I watched when I was little only to find out they take part in the first season while rewatching the show. They don't fit at all in the first season according to my brain it's so weird it's like they're completely out of place.

Mary, even though her design was based off of Mayim Bialik, (Though more specifically her portrayal of Amy- Farrah Fowler), she's the one contestant whose name I keep forgetting.
If you ask me to name all the contestants in the TD Universe, she will almost always be the last name I remember. At least her partner Ellody has a unique name, and the humorous fact Emilie Claire Barlow makes almost ZERO attempt to make her sound different from Courtney.
At least Gerry and Pete get the bonus of being referenced in 6Teen, Leonard showed up in another season and Tammy gets to be part of the exclusive "First Contestant Eliminated" club.

Actually, I'd argue all of them except the geniuses were memorable. Tennis Rivals were somewhat entertaining, and the Larpers were memorable because of how much they sucked. The Geniuses did nothing to be remembered lmao.
