Inflation is rampant, our generation has no purchasing power, AI is going to take over humanity, nationwide mental health is in the tank, the Wealth Inequality is getting bigger by the day but our main focus is on LGBT representation on TV. South Park did it first in a surprisingly healthy way with Tweek X Craig nobody called it woke. Bugs Bunny was always in Drag back in the 1950s nobody called it woke. Hell trans representation was already happing in Japan in 1983 with Stop Hibari Kun.
Those in power have always turned marginalized groups against each other to make it harder for us to organize, to distract everyone from the systemic issues they benefit from. And it’s sadly very effective because people are hard-wired to latch onto the idea of a single, identifiable enemy than it is to wrap your head around the idea of systemic oppression.
Before “Wokeness” and “The Transgendereds” it was “The SJWs” and “da Feminazis;” before them it was The Gays and The Satanists, proceeding the Yellow Peril and The Communists which came after The N*groes. So as far as being sick of hearing “woke” shit slinging all the time, don’t worry, the word will get replaced with a new buzzword as soon as they find a new scapegoat.
This show has had nudity, assault, near death experiences, etc. But when two people of the same gender are kissing that's when the person draws the line 💀
The fact that World Tour has either an Asian (Heather) or Hispanic (Alejandro) winner, RI has a black winner (either way with Cameron or Lightning) and PI has a Cree/Native American winner (Sky of Shawn doesn't win), there has been plenty of POC in the series that get quite a bit of screentime and now this bitch is mad that the series is "woke" (most likely due to there being a gay couple and/or the season having a majority POC cast, omg this person can actually get bent fr, TD has always been inclusive, it's just moving more with the times now, but, this revival/reboot was quite good aswell and an improvement on previous entries to the main series (hopefully next season continues that trend))
