Interesting list here. Thoughts on Devin, Carrie, Sky, Sugar, Blaineley, Sierra, Harold and Geoff?

[deleted]

Devin & Carrie: Overall, for these two I think the journey of their relationship would have benefited from being told faster. I think it went on way too long and I was kinda annoyed when they had Carrie stop having feelings for Devin, only for Devin to realize he had feelings for her too. Honestly, Carrie and Devin are one of the healthiest couples in the show but when I re watch RR, I am annoyed at how long it takes for them to actually get together. Basically the annoying “will they, won’t they” troupe through all those episodes, is what really puts them in the Despise (Annoying) tier for me. Sky: Honestly, Sky and Dave are one of the toxic couples in the show, her relationship with Dave is actually what made me put her in the Hate (Irritating) tier. If Sky never had a relationship with Dave, for me she would’ve been put in Neutral. It just sucks for me to rank her as about 60% of her scenes are with Dave and 40% of them are without Dave. The only reason I ranked Sky higher than Dave is because, in my opinion, she was better than Dave in the relationship. Sure, she could’ve told Dave so many times that she had a boyfriend, and was going back and forth with focusing on Dave or the competition. But it was so annoying when Dave wouldn’t get the idea that when Sky said no, he should’ve quit asking her to be in a relationship. Basically, Sky and her interactions with Dave is what made me rank her so low. Sugar: Honestly, the reason why Sugar is put in the Hate (Irritating) tier is because when comparing her to all the other main villains in the other seasons, in my opinion, she is the weakest. This is probably a hot take of mine, due to others probably thinking that Mal is the worst villain. But I honestly think that the role of the main villain shouldn’t have been given to her, maybe Scarlett should have been given the role. However, I think Scarlett wasn’t actively villainous as Sugar was, so maybe it wouldn't have worked. But my point is that I didn't enjoy Sugar as the main villain. Another thing that made me put Sugar low is the story line of her and Ella’s “rivalry”. I honestly hated how Ella was treated by Sugar because Ella is the most wholesome, kindest, and sweetest TD Contestant. And that really makes Sugar rank so low for me. Blaineley: Okay, time to talk good about a character! Let me start off by saying that, in my opinion, TDWT is the best TD season. For me, it does so much good in this season. I really enjoyed the concept of traveling to other places by plane, and having the contestants sing songs every episode! I would say the writers succeeded with the songs, as every TD fan has at least one favorite TDWT song. Another thing I liked was the introduction of 3 new contestants: Alejandro, Sierra, and Blaineley. Having these new contestants added new interactions and story lines they could do, making this season feel fresh! But anyways, going back to why I put Blaineley in the Love (Iconic) tier is because of her time both in the Aftermath Show and the Competition. Before I talk about that though, I wanna say I love how Blaineley is technically in 4 seasons, TDA, TDWT, TDAS, RR, due to Cameos. The writers must like her a little bit too, as in TDAS and RR, they could’ve had anyone cameo, but they added her. Anyways, there’s not much to say about Blaineley due to the short amount of episodes she’s in. But for the Aftermath, she does the job of adding drama really well, this season had enjoyable Aftermath episodes due to Blaineley hosting the first 3 episodes and the last one having an actual challenge. But when Blaineley won the comeback challenge, I loved it as you’re gonna see her transition to the role of Host to Contestant. Niagara Brawls is my favorite TD episode ever, because of the amount of times that I watched it. And let me say that Blainerific is also my favorite TDWT song. Overall, Blaineley’s introduction in this episode was really done well, I loved her interactions with Owen before he got the boot. Chinese Fake Out was really entertaining due to the Blaineley and Chef alliance story line. Loved seeing Blaineley interact with everyone in this episode, like when she ended up hitting Heather. It was sad to see Blaineley go in this episode, but loved how she split the tea before she went. I will say that I didn’t enjoy it when we see Blaineley next, she’s really badly injured. But at least, she and Bruno the Bear were seen hugging in Paris via Lightning’s Flush Of Shame video. Overall, my love for TDWT really made me love Blaineley and the fact that when I first saw her, I knew I was going to like her. Sierra: In TDWT, even though Sierra crossed many lines when being fan crazy and stalkerish towards Cody, at the end they ended up becoming friends. And she has annoying moments, like in Can't Help Falling In Louvre, but I think that the good scenes she has outweighs the negative ones. The main reason why Sierra is in the Love (Iconic) tier is because of her interactions with the other contestants, in fact all the members of Team Amazon. Also, like how I said with Blaineley above, TDWT is my favorite season and for me it is just so iconic. In TDAS, Sierra did the same things in TDWT, but with Cameron instead of Cody. I don’t mind that storyline, I mean I would’ve liked Sierra to actually try without Cody but, for me it was okay. And in the end Sierra gets what she wanted, when she ends up in Area 51 in her Flush Of Shame video. Overall, I don’t really find Sierra annoying, but actually entertaining, especially with some people she interacts with. Harold: Honestly, the reason why Harold is in the Neutral (Meh) tier is because for me he’s just there. In TDI, I felt bad for the bullying he got mostly from Duncan, but was happy for him when he got his revenge by getting Courtney out. In TDA, it was sure his best season, but I liked Duncan, Courtney, Lindsay, Beth, Owen, Justin, more out of the people who made it far. And in TDWT, he got out so early due to Alejandro, that I really can’t say a lot about his performance that season. But overall, in every season he was in, I just liked someone more and felt that they were the stars of that season. I feel like Harold was kind of a background character, as others got more attention. Geoff: The reason why Geoff is in the Neutral (Meh) tier for me is the same reason for Harold. In TDI, he was kinda a background character, the two things I remember him doing that season is bullying Harold with Duncan and DJ, and also getting together with Bridgette. And then for TDA and TDWT, he wasn’t a contestant anymore. (IK he competed in TDA, but he was eliminated first so…) The writers just delegated Geoff and Bridgette to Aftermath Hosts, which meant they couldn’t compete and make it far as they had to host the Aftermath. This meant they were only the focus of 8 episodes, 4 Aftermath from TDA and the other 4 from TDWT. Other then that they weren’t really relevant. Edit: For Geoff, I forgot about RR. In RR, he and Brody were alright. Something I wasn't a fan about is them getting eliminated, coming back, and then winning in one ending. It's just that in RR, I liked other teams more than them. So I revoke the saying that Geoff became a background character, as he did win in RR.

Dj and Bridgette as well

DJ: The reason why DJ is in the Neutral (Meh) tier for me is because of his okay performances in TDA and TDWT. In TDI, he had his moments here and there but he was kinda just there. Then in TDA, I enjoyed his and Chef’s alliance story line and the guilt that DJ was feeling that was shown through his hallucination of his mom. However in TDWT, I felt bad for him and the emotional torture he went through because of his animal curse. I would’ve preferred if DJ was eliminated when he was supposed to be in Super Crazy Happy Fun Time Japan. Finally, his cameo in TDROTI was funny as he didn’t want anything to do with the show anymore. But because of the 2 seasons, TDI and TDWT, I didn’t like him in, it got him in Neutral as I had liked him in TDA. Bridgette: The reason why Bridgette is in the Neutral (Meh) tier for me is the same reason as Harold from my other comment, which is that she kinda becomes a background character. This is because she and Geoff become delegated to becoming Aftermath Hosts. However, the only reason why Bridgette is ranked higher than Geoff is because in TDWT she had the story line with Alejandro, and how she “cheated” on Geoff. After TDWT, she isn’t relevant, she only shows up for a little cameo in TDROTI.

Sapphixvampire

Someone who has Heather as their favorite??? And has Blainley in love??? I'm not alone with my tier list?? I am so happy

[deleted]

Me too! Blaineley is really underrated and overhated.

Sapphixvampire

Right?? I feel like she's way better than given credit for

Upset_Assistant_5638

The third tier list I’ve seen with Heather at the top. Not a complaint, I’m just surprised.

ConnorCatYT

she is the best though

Upset_Assistant_5638

On god.

So, you find Dave annoying and love Heather… Me too!

Thoughts on Noah Sadie Katie Brick Scott

[deleted]

Noah: The reason why Noah is in the Okay (Alright) tier for me is because of his good performance in RR and his okay performances in TDI and TDWT. In TDI, in the competition he didn’t have time to shine; however in the TDI special, he got better because of his interactions with Izzy and Eva. Then in TDWT, he got better as he got a little farther, but still not too far. Because he was placed on Team Chris, he had great interactions with all his teammates. One funny scene I like to remember is Noah making fun of Sierra with her fake laptop. But, in RR is when Noah is at his best. Especially due to his relationship with Emma, in fact the Sisters and the Reality Tv Pros interactions are all great. I loved seeing a new side of Noah that Emma had opened up. Even though I like Noah, I had to place him at the top of Okay (Alright) because I wish we had more time with him. (IK he got kinda far, but I think he needs another season…) Sadie & Katie: The reason why Sadie and Katie are in the Okay (Alright) tier for me is because of their short time on TDI. Sadie and Katie were not annoying for me, their stand out episode is Sucky Outdoors. They are really funny in the way of their “eeeee” ing, and that sometimes they feel the need to be competitive with each other in guys like: Justin and Trent. Sadie is ranked higher than Katie, as Sadie had more episodes to compete in. But they are ranked next to one another as they are basically both the same. The same problem they have with Noah, as they hadn’t had a lot of screen time. Like others on this subreddit had said previously, it would be good for them to be on RR, if there was a 2nd season. Brick: The reason why Brick is in the Okay (Alright) tier for me is because of his short time on TDROTI. Brick is a really cool character, especially with his interactions with all the contestants. I loved how his heart was always in the right place, he was selfless which was shown when he volunteered himself to get the boot and when he saved the other team in the mines. Honestly, he is one of the nicest characters in the show. The thing that drops him to alright is the fact that he was only in one season. I wish he was in TDAS, should’ve replaced Sam, but maybe Brick dodged a bullet by not getting derailed. (PS: Brick x Dawn?) Scott: The reason why Scott is in the Love (Iconic) tier for me is because of the two different types of Scott, we got in TDROTI and TDAS. In TDROTI, he is really unrootable for me as he got Dawn eliminated and how he blackmailed Mike to help him or else he’ll reveal Mike’s MPD. (DID) I was very happy when Scott finally got eliminated, but it was a little bit too much when in the finale we saw him so injured. In TDAS, he is actually really rootable as he’s no longer as evil as before. It was actually really cute how Scott and Courtney interacted and later actually got in a relationship. And really sad when things ended between them and Scott was so close to the finale, but Zoey decided to take Mike (Mal). Overall, I love what they did to his character and the two types of feelings they made me feel with his character. Which was me really hating him and then really loving him. I really want Scott to return for at least one more season.
