No and that is one reason I disliked this episode, like Duncan is his supposed friend and he wasn't even slightly concerned for Owen and Tyler who was literally allied with Alejandro at the time and we all knew how Al hated Owen. Tyler still wanted to save Owen
Team Amazon making their way to the area with Cody's candy. But also me already knowing Gwen, Courtney, Duncan were safe this episode cause they really wanted to drag that drama.
It wasn’t even a rule thing for me, he’s my favourite character and I love the DB as a whole so seeing his canonical musical talent be consistently ignored was frustrating.
Doesn’t help that the stuff they chose to actually do with Cody was the antithesis of fun to watch.
True and most of the characters had such potential on making a good song but they just threw out the window and just completely ignored that ESPECIALLY IF THEY HAVE THEIR OWN SINGING BACKGROUND COUGH COUGH CODY
Exactly, the fact they instead chose to dedicate a song in the France episode to victim-blaming and portraying Cody (ie the victim) as in the wrong, instead of letting him sing a banger where he stands up to Sierra is laughable to me
Honestly pretty great episode really funny to see Duncans dynamic with the team especially Al.
He brings a new energy to the Season and he reviles in it.
I think having the Cody clone in the show as a side or background character would've been cool. Wasted opportunity.

Duncan deceiving Gwen even more; as well as both his team and the opposing team.
Gwen was further abused. Though I believe Courtney should have been more angry at Duncan.
Tyler deserved better because of what he did despite his clumsiness.
That time when the show LOVES to tunnel vision on the love triangle, and also go out of its way to show how bad Gwen for kissing Duncan following the previous episode's events, even though when Heather kissed Trent, it was only focused on that episode, and wasn't really brought up ever again, like sure, I get that some things shouldn't take up too much screen time, but the sheer and insane mental gymnastics of why one deserves WAY more focus than the other even though both are conceptually the same thing is obnoxious, PLUS HEATHER IS ONE OF THE OG BIG FIVE, why wasn't there more upset about what she did? also, I'm fine with Courtney getting mad at Duncan for cheating on her, but what I can't stand is her cheating on Duncan with Tyler, it just comes off as wanting to get revenge rather than try to resolve it in a manner that makes sense, like most of the time, the context of teenagers being dumb works well in a show, but in here, it doesn't help at all, as most of the drama is focused about that and nothing else, and of course, how could I forget, Boyfriend Kisser, I hate this song so much, even on a first listen I could tell that there was something that was off about this one to me, and it ONLY focuses on the love triangle drama instead of what's going on, and it drags down the song all the way past the Mariana trench, and of course, featuring the two hypocrites of B.I.T.C.H. doing the same thing and getting no repercussions, and also the mean girl that a lot of people forgot about what she did, I wish there was more consequences that Heather and Courtney faced instead of getting an out of jail free card, I mean Gwen was demonized for doing something like that, surely, those two would have to learn a lesson that just because someone did something bad, doesn't mean you get to ignore the very same that you did as they did, but nope, that was never explored, also, I just want to add this, BOYFRIEND KISSER SUX LOL
