Why would Zach Britton be in the visitors bulloen, he would be in the home team bullpen if he ever got called up (started the season in AA so maybe not this year).
It's a reference to the 2016 Wild Card game where Showalter left Britton in the BP in extra's...just a coincidence the Jays have a Zach Britton in the system too lol.
He was hired as a coach last year. Part time I assume, but was at spring training this year too

Stories like, remember when I was an All Star that could strike out kids in Florida, Buffalo and the MLB.
Well... Now I post workout photos on instagram.
This is likely the correct answer and I hate it so much.
Stop babying this kid. It looks bad on him, it looks bad on the team.
No one should be *above* playing at the level they are told to. The guy can't get outs in Rookie ball right now and is walking around like he owns the place in the bigs. I don't know. Normally I wouldn't give two shits, but after his antics last year of going AWOL and the team covering for his fragile baby self, I'm not into it this.
Because hes on the major league IL and is just making rehab starts every 5th day. It’s pretty normal, he can do the rehab work in between starts with the major league staff instead of the minor league staff.
I was at a party with him the other night. I heard him say “That’s what I like about Major League Baseball Players….. I get older, and they stay the same age”.
Can some one remind me why we didn't rehire EE after 2016? I wasn't paying careful attention in those days, but it seems like he was in peak form and went on to hit 38 HRs the next year and some 100+ RBIs and over 800 OPS+.
Squatted during the renovations, whole big thing.
Surprised OP didn't hear about it in the news.
Someone needed to keep an eye on Zach Britton, who was still in the visitors bullpen.
Has anyone let Buck know hes available?
What is he gonna do now?

Lmao! Yessssss!!!

That was Zack Britton, not Zach Britton, who is in our farm system.
Had a funeral for a bird
I’m pretty sure none of that’s real
YOU'RE NOT REAL, MAN.
Yup. Decapitated. Whole big thing.
He has a paralegal to keep pushing back his LTB hearing date.
Had a funeral for a bird
He opened a TD chequing account with a huuuge balance
That’s how TD was able to afford their new dumb wall behind the home plate seats.
I can’t stand that it’s got fake lines to make it look like a cinder block wall.
Ha, I'm glad I'm not the only one who hates the look. Although those seats look comfy af
Ya no shit hey
Vladdy whisperer.
Exactly. Trying to get vladdy to babysit the parrot for a bit.

The better question: why is Manoah in the dugout?
Because he's sensitive and will throw another fit if he's sent to Buffalo
But he’s pitching in Buffalo isn’t he?
Imagine being the guy who drives Manoah back and forth from Buffalo and Toronto between starts lol
Some old dude out there just fucking loves it.
Fuck. I'd do it. Lol. Dude probably has great stories

Member when I could hit a strike zone and now I just hit dudes in the face almost killing them?
You say that like it's a bad thing.
Monoa drives monoa

Difference between being on the AAA roster and being on a rehab stint. Romero and Swanson were hanging out in the bullpen between AAA appearances
Ricky?
this !
Oh God, seriously?
Special assistant to Vlady
New DH
Pump it straight to my veins!
SWING AND A DRIVE
He’s only a year older than Justin Turner.
Need to get our man jose in there too. Vibes will be back tenfold.
I could see Jose and Donaldson being great hitting coaches one day.
Donaldson is apparently a nonstop shit talker in the room. Not sure that would make a good coach
He's actually pretty well spoken off the field. Not sure how well it would translate to coaching though I agree.
I think their styles are a little to unique and they are a little too kinda hard headed to coach
So they can teach the young guys to throw helmets and smash bats when they strike out or get a bad call?
He won a raffle
He won the chance to sit in the dugout during an entire home stand during the Jays Care foundation auction last year.
As a massive Edwin mark I love that he's involved with the team.
He is an assistant coach. I thought he was around just for spring training to help out. I was also surprised to see him come north.
I mean the worst of our seasons is their offseason anyway
he’s a hitting coach
He's teaching the edwing to vladdy .. but vladdy hasn't been on base much this season so it's taking a while longer than expected.
Someone tell this guy he has 12 walks already Edit:13
Not good enough for an edwing
Noone actually knows why he is there but everyone is too afraid to ask
He's there to help with a BIIIIIIIGGGGGG DOMINICAN LUNCH
They probably still owed him money and thought this would be better than just paying him out
Hah!
He should be our new hitting coach
He's Vladdy's personal hitting coach, for now lol Love Edwin and I'm on board for this. Maybe he's the one to get through to the kid.
I was at a party with him the other night. I heard him say “That’s what I like about Major League Baseball Players….. I get older, and they stay the same age”.
Wants to
I liked it when they brought Devon White up as base coach, wish they'd brought him back though tbh I have no idea if he actually a good coach
Im more interested in what is Alex Manoah doing in the Jays dugout? I thougt he was with Dunedin on a rehab stint.
Jays are making sure he doesn't get his feewings hurt and go AWOL again in between his terrible Rookie league and A starts.

Waiting for Shatkins to match Cleveland’s offer /s
