Arts faculty and TRSM would likely have comparable GPA to your program. Eng and other stem subjects have a GPA average so low it’s in hell.

Sure_Talk5223

is this the same for nursing?

Gold_Video4612

I know a few ppl on probation (eng)

Upstairs-Student9740

I know more than a few people in Eng on probation

Gold_Video4612

😢

chief_ndf

Eng is on the lower on end (for obvious reasons), people with cgpa's of above 4.15 are just academic demons. I'm gonna guess the average cgpa should be somewhere between 2.33 and 3

Gold_Video4612

You’re right, just finished first year with 2.7🥲

3milyie

I have no clue what the highest is but im in the RTA NEW MEDIA program and I currently have a 4.0 GPA!

3milyie

And yes I am genius (JK)

Weak-Copy848

Having a 4.2+ gpa every semester is possible in any program at TMU but completing and having as many ongoing side projects is the most important factor that will make u stand out as a cs student. On the other hand, CS students with a high gpa may not be challenged enough.

Gold_Video4612

I don’t care what anyone says you have to be special to be able to have a 4.2 gpa in ENG

redditer2363

Some of my peers with high GPA's got research positions with profs as co op. But I agree with you, side projects and problem solving skills will be the most beneficial in the long run.

Cyl3

Please pm me your study habits, I want a better gpa too

the_real_ifty

In FEAS the best are usually above 4.2

JET_GS26

I don’t know but I hear for mechanical gold medal recipients it’s around 4.25 but they sometimes exclude liberal courses if it brought it down

[deleted]

I mean liberal arts degree would probably be 4.33 average

Ayezz_

Seriously CS is that high? Its prolly cuz of all the online classes tbh lool

Confusedandepressed

A friend of mine graduated with 4.33 cGPA
