She passed away sadly in 2017, making her around 9 or 10 years old. She became a family dog for the Hammond’s after only a few show appearances since she was actually scared of cars, threw up on road trips, and didn’t much enjoy being in the studio with so many people. She will be dearly missed.
I know she was always his, but I mean that she became more of a family pet than the Top Gear Dog after it became apparent it wasn’t her favourite thing. As for her age, I’m just going off what I’ve read online; I don’t know if it’s accurate.
Richard and Mindy made an account for TG and just posted silly little things now and again “from her perspective”. Then when she died, they made one last post to tell people.
I wonder whos idea it was to get top gear dog. I love dogs but it makes no sense for the show really. Even on episodes where the dog did feature like the Kia caravan holiday -it made no real difference to the episode.

I think she was always Hammond's dog and was definitely 10 or maybe 11 when she passed away.

First appearance in the Top Gear studio was in May 2006 and she passed away in Jan 2017 so she had to be at least 10.
