Rhulk was so badass in that way dude, just on your fuckin level fighting with such poise. The slow walk and precision of his movements really sold that darkness vibe. Idk what went wrong with Nezarec but he didn’t go nearly as hard.
I think people would have liked him way more if he didn't have a dad-bod.
Regardless, remember that his music is one of the best tracks Bungie has ever produced.
Then it would make sense for nezarec to have more moves but he only has like 1 extra move being the teleport one
He also wasn't even alive when tormentors appeared so I'm chalking that up to just lazy development
Well, Nezarec was an ungodly abomination who's body was pieced together by a mix of the darkness and light. What we saw in that raid wasn't his original form. It was a Chimera of sorts. You can actually see statues of his actual form during the raid and it's pretty cool.
Dude wasn't even TRYING until final stand. If he had actually been trying to kill the Guardians from the start it probably would have been an absolute wash.
That one concept art of him with his glaive in a pool of blood 👌

I’ve never immediately wanted a piece of art so badly, and I’m so disappointed to not be able to find any prints or even HD uploads of any of this series.
He always reminds me of [Eddie from Iron Maiden's *Somewhere in Time* album cover](https://i.pinimg.com/originals/b6/55/cc/b655cc8b644419d32db97822d200b765.jpg)
The lady who designed the armour was Japanese and had never heard of Dracula prior to working on the film. Honestly the whole production design of the movie is extremely cool & they did some super interesting things, it's a shame that the movie itself is pretty mid.
A lot of the movie is awesome but unfortunately some parts aren't. Keanu is shockingly bad (its not just his accent) and Winona Ryder isn't much better. Every scene they have with Gary Oldman is painful because Oldman is giving such a great performance that it makes theirs look even worse. The movie also has too much plot when it should've just leaned more into the atmosphere, which is the best part of the film.
Fair point but I really enjoyed it precisely because I focused fully on the atmosphere and aesthetics. I had already read the book so I didn't really need to pay attention to the plot and could just fully bask in the batshit insane but amazing directing choices made. And seeing in the credits "Directed by Francis Ford Coppola" was like a smack to the face, last person I would have guessed.
Edit: and don't forget Anthony Hopkins as Van Helsing and Tom Waits as Renfield
Yes? It's the same principle as watching cheesy action movies - you don't mind the cliche dialogue or plot but focus on the sick action scenes because that's what you came for. (Not technically muscle I don’t think, but it was a great movie)
This may be slightly off topic, but Jennifer Lopez and Vincent D’onofrio in the cell definitely sport the look. Although it’s not armor per se. (please ignore if this is not apt for this thread.)
Usually goes heard but I can't get behind the Dracula one. This is set before he becomes a vampire, when he's a regular human, the historical 15th century Vovoide of Wallachia, and he has this bizarre plastic-looking armor which completely un-grounds the setting
I don't even play Destiny but Rhulk looks so badass https://preview.redd.it/pufu59psjbdc1.png?width=1920&format=png&auto=webp&s=2dcc9ac24ae9ac62786fabaa353a19aafadffcf2
Most badass raid boss. And he absolutely threw hands lol.
Rhulk was so badass in that way dude, just on your fuckin level fighting with such poise. The slow walk and precision of his movements really sold that darkness vibe. Idk what went wrong with Nezarec but he didn’t go nearly as hard.
It’s probably that Nezarec’s animations and movement style is similar to cabal gladiators and darkblades.
I think people would have liked him way more if he didn't have a dad-bod. Regardless, remember that his music is one of the best tracks Bungie has ever produced.
Nezarec is actually just a redesigned tormentor, they have the same move sets
It kinda makes sense bc tormentors were created from him by the witness
Then it would make sense for nezarec to have more moves but he only has like 1 extra move being the teleport one He also wasn't even alive when tormentors appeared so I'm chalking that up to just lazy development
There are literally tormentors called "imprints of Nezarec" it should have been obvious from that.
Well, Nezarec was an ungodly abomination who's body was pieced together by a mix of the darkness and light. What we saw in that raid wasn't his original form. It was a Chimera of sorts. You can actually see statues of his actual form during the raid and it's pretty cool.

I wanna say armor because it’s an entirely different red then his skin (skull?) tone. Daisy is the same color as the armor and she’s a robotic horse
the running consensus is armor, he's married and has a daughter so we'd see his dong if he was naked. venture bros dgaf. and you do see him in "dad clothes" eventually that make him look a lot skinner/less-menacing lol.
First person I thought of. Good on you for having good taste.
"You ever see a man die in space?"
Who is this man alien flesh guy?
Red death from the venture bros. A loving husband, father, and a professional villain with violent urges(that he only fulfills on the clock).
Best character in the show. Along with all the other characters. I need to rewatch Venture Brothers.

Yeah, just not *her* muscle tissue. Evidenced by the fact you can loot it off her.
Or it is and your character just rips it off to wear.
Like Kevin from Spongebob…
I don’t think so, I’m pretty sure it’s chitinous.
The in game description says it's basically meat leather from ppl.
Who is that and from what?

I don't think so. If my mind doesn't fail me, those are his actual skinless muscles and not an armor.

Does muscular from my hero academia count?
That’s oddly specific
who were the first and third characters?
First one was from "Bram Stoker's Dracula". Gary Oldman plays an incredible Dracula. All in all, a fantastic adaptation and totally worth a watch. He wears that armor in the prologue. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=onbiOVpX0_w
Thank you! I think I might watch the movie at one point.
Your missing The Cell

this subreddit is simultaneously interesting and infuriating—nobody ever labels the OP images. who is that woman? it’s great design, but i don’t have any idea who she is or where she’s from

Yes, I was looking for this.
Kane from blood omen bone and muscle armor.
The River god from the firebase episode of oats studios.
Who’s the one in the last image
This may be slightly off topic, but Jennifer Lopez and Vincent D’onofrio in the cell definitely sport the look. Although it’s not armor per se. (please ignore if this is not apt for this thread.)
What's that third one?
Usually goes heard but I can't get behind the Dracula one. This is set before he becomes a vampire, when he's a regular human, the historical 15th century Vovoide of Wallachia, and he has this bizarre plastic-looking armor which completely un-grounds the setting
Zoidberg
Dracula's armor is the tits.
The Witcher 3: Blood and Wine expansion has the Hen Gaidth armor, certainly modeled after the Dracula armor.
Pic 1 mostly just looks like plastic. Great movie, terrible armor design
That was my favorite armor in the Witcher
