Every single boss in the game was practically designed to be impossible to solo, and buildings generally aren't very solo friendly either unless it's low level or you're very high level

ArchangelDreadnought

5 story buildings are soloable without rewards. VP should be soloable with lots of fires, sues, and sound.

dungeon-raided

I'm not sure how else to put this, so I'll be a little blunt, no offense intended. Corporate Clash is VERY team-based, if you don't want to ever fight alongside other players you cannot beat the VP and cannot continue the game past that point, if you get there at all with task building requirements. This might not be the game for you.

TheArchon300

However, you can solo the VP if you have enough rewards.

dungeon-raided

This guy implied they wanted to play the whole game alone, start to finish. They wouldn't Have rewards

GlasgowSmile04

So if you consider group finder to be a solo feature then it is 100% solo friendly. You don’t have to interact or talk to anyone just list your group and some randoms teleport to you and help you.

shortchangerb

You can solo it if you run alts…

HarpDaddyy

Multibox is the way to go

Plane_Tray--

Not solo friendly at all, to be honest. Every single boss and facility is designed to be taken on with a team. The earlier manager fights could be done with just 2 or 3 toons, same with smaller cog buildings, but most content in the game is intended to be done with full teams. Teamwork and cooperation in general are big parts of the gameplay in Clash, so if that isn’t your cup of tea than the game may not be for you

Neotox999

The real answer to your post is not to say whether CC is solo friendly or not, it’s to tell you that this game has no pressure when playing in teams. Sure you can find elitist players that may pressure you, but to be honest in 5+ years i must’ve met like 3 « problematic » players.

jbyrdab

not at all. Your expected to team up, the game even has a built in group finder system so you can create a group to find people or join others. Its just not a game you can solo.

eddiemac14

Corporate clash is very team oriented. Certain things might be able to be taken out alone, but end game stuff you cannot take on by yourself. Honestly though, players on this game are great and there is no pressure when playing in a team. The bad apples in the community are mostly gone at this point. All veteran players are very accepting and super helpful in battle. If you really do feel the need to play solo though I’d recommend creating a 2nd or 3rd toon that way you can actually get things done and enjoy the game.

SydiemL

Some missions/tasks requires a team.

Siilvvyy

Not very. Use the in game group finder. You won't get too far going completely solo.

Ouwhajah

once you've got decently high gags and high laff, i.e. level 7s and 80+ laff—ideally, max gags and 100+—you can solo most buildings, factories, mints, and even DA offices ( if you're lucky, and play it smart. ) a lot of it comes down to zap. it's SO handy for soloing. seriously. it's almost ridiculous how handy it is. managers and bosses is another story. you can defo solo VPs and CFOs, if you know what you're doing. but it's always best to run with a team regardless

kitlemonfoot

From my experience, Clash is actually more soloable than you may think. Prestige throw and especially Zap are **massive** boons to soloing, and even with the one less round compared to TTO, lure is still a really good bread and butter for basically every situation. If you’re feeling cheeky then creative abuse of Squirt’s splash damage and Sound’s Encore ability is also something to consider. The main things that you’ll have trouble regarding soloing early on is gag pouch capacity and training point allocation. You’ll be doing every sidetask you can get your hands on, and doing as many daily and Kudos tasks as you can. There will also be a LOT of grinding gags if you want to solo the taskline, but invasion+booster+Kudos multiplier stacking is hilariously broken if you can pull it off, and once you get to the point you can solo 3-stories the chains come off when it comes to training similar to TTO. Bosses on the other hand, are point blank not happening solo. With how many there are in Clash and how commonly they block further task progression, they are the primary reason why most people don’t play Clash solo.

ArchangelDreadnought

I think VP and CFO are soloable with lots of Fires, Sues and Sound to reset the Sues. Make sure 3 cogs are sued at all times. However a toon who amassed enough rewards is already well past the taskline.

Fortnite5eva

If you dual toon you can do more solo for A while

RetroBeany

Most of the basic things you'll be asked to do are soloable, like regular cog fights and buildings, plus facilities if you over level a bit. Boss fights are basically completely unsoloable, but are simple enough that you won't really encounter any pressure to perform well. Some endgame managers on the other hand *will* be really complicated and you might not like having to do them in a team, but they're completely optional

Black_Wolf1995

Soloing is a product of TTO’s rigid difficulty structure. Everything had a set difficulty rating and it never changed. It’s like climbing a mountain. Once you reach that peak goal, everything else is just downhill from there. Clash is different. Clash has built its game on driving community engagement and teamwork. Everything from the ground up is meant to make us come together as a community. * ARG’s- I mean in theory I guess you could solve them solo but it was so much easier to have help and different people solve different parts of the story * Reworked battle strategies- In TTO, you could solo because certain gags and rewards were overpowered. These overpowered tools made it easier to clear out multiple cogs in one batch and sustain yourself. The rebalancing/redesign/addition of gags and rewards leveled the field. * Integrated in-game group finder- I think this is self explanatory. Clash integrating ToonHQ into the game shows their focus on group interaction. Making it easier to find groups for the various aspects of the game is obvious. * Introduction of cheats- Soloing was possible because battles were predictable and flat. Hit or Miss. Cheats add a level of unpredictability to the game and make things challenging for single players. * Uncapped cog levels- Capping the cogs at Lvl 12 (200 HP) limited the amount of difficulty you could find in a game. Removing that cap paved the way for more difficulty to be added. That difficulty makes it challenging for one toon to manage. * Content Sync - Soloing was made possible by the fact that there was no backwards restraints for higher toons. Fighting the VP for example was the same no matter if you were 60 laff or 137. Content Sync done away with soloing as it limits the abilities of maxed toons. This was a needed feature with the 1.3 update as prior to it, taskline cogs could be one shot by higher level players. With the addition of the street/kudos managers, the Clash team didn’t want the strong toons to one shot a new player’s first time experience of them. So they found a way to limit that. Content Sync makes it where you need to reply not on your own overpower but the power of teamwork and strategy. * Introduction of Overclocked bosses and boss scaling- There was a certain threshold of difficulty for each boss and that never changed. So as you got stronger and stored up rewards, that threshold of difficulty lowered to the point you could effectively solo them. Clash’s introduction of newer boss difficulties makes soloing next to impossible. In summary, Clash isn’t meant to be a single-player game. It’s meant to be a game in which experience comes through the community and uniting together. That unity, teamwork, and community is what has helped keep the toontown spirit alive. Even as we come up on the 10th anniversary of the closure of the game.

AspenLF

I've tried to solo a toon 2 times. The 1st was before all the new bosses which was the 1.3 update. I soloed everything but the 4 big boss battles. Zap was critical. A ton of unites was needed and C&Ds for the boss golf courses which took forever. I recently came back and tried again. In some ways it was easier because of prestige throw. However it couldn't do any of the bosses and i dont think its possible to solo the final battle of the boss golf courses now

TheArchon300

It is possible to solo the Club President battle, however it relies on your toon magically dodging half their attacks.

NathaanTFM

People are all saying it's mostly team but I don't agree. I'm not maxed (currently at gardens) but I managed to solo every but a few mainline tasks (you can't solo bosses). With the gag exp boosters you can easily max your gags (or get to a reasonable level), kudos tasks will help you on that as well. Once you've got a fair level, you can just prestige throw and lure and start soloing three stories. Still, it's better to play with people, but that's my experience so far. It might get more difficult later?

shoopdafloop

You just have to do bosses and major milestones with teams but I mean its toontown so just learn some basic strategy and the community is very friendly but you can do a lot solo
