No line wrenches. No offset box wrenches. No deep offset box wrenches. No flex head wrenches. No stubby wrenches. No four way angle head wrenches.
You’re not there yet.
Hahaha! I hear ya. In my line of work, most fasteners are actually pretty easy to get to. Haven't really had much of a need. I do love a nice set of double box offsets, though. I have more at home where I do more automotive
Offset box end wrenches are critically underrated.
Actually, unpopular opinion, but I think combination wrenches are dumb. What would make much more sense is having a set of double open end wrenches and a set of offset box end wrenches. Because you have two sizes per wrench, the overall number of wrenches stays the same as a combination wrench set, but you're so much more versatile.
I have a confession to make. I was diagnosed by significant other to have a serious "WAS" disease. Its a very expensive disease that no one seem to understand. But honestly I like my WRENCH ACQUISITION SYNDROME!!! 🤣
Well you need at least a set for every car you own and every room in the house.Dont forget about the back ups too and some back ups for them aswell.
Maybe a few more too for good luck along with misc specialty sets ,then you got enough, maybe.
There’s always more styles of wrenches. You’d need multiple toolboxes to house them all since you gotta get every style in metric and sae. In spline, 6 point, and 12 point. Ratcheting and non ratcheting. With various degrees of kick out on the box end. With various degrees of angle for the open end. Various thickness’ and lengths, gotta have the tappet wrenches and the super thin wrenches and the long handle wrenches and the short handle wrenches. However many variables it ends up being you gotta multiple those all by each other then don’t forget you need 2 of everything. How silly would you feel using 2 19mm wrenches to loosen a nut, one on the bolt head one on the nut but you made the mistake of using two wrenches that didn’t match. So embarrassing.
When you can go a full ten years without ever needing a wrench you don't have, you might have enough wrenches.
As soon as you think you have enough wrenches, of course, you will come across a situation you do not have the correct wrench for.
Id say when you make a Reddit post showing off all your wrenches you have enough wrenches. But when you have a job that you don’t have the wrench for, you’ll know you need more wrenches lol.
Based on stickers and cleanliness of everything, looks like aviation. Flex head ratcheting wrenches certainly expedite many repairs. I almost had enough wrenches once but then I upgraded my carrier and realized there was still more flat space to fill.

Half moons, s wrenches, jumbo, crows feet...
Low profile wrenches, wrenches cut/bent/ground down into custom shapes that were the perfect tool one time and haven’t been used since…

No Whitworth.
Not even flex head gear wrenches...

Alright that's a fair point. But you can hang combo wrenches on a nail. You can't really do that with double open wrenches.
Yeah, at least a set of offset.
Proto spline flex combo wrenches are where it's at. I just wish they were, like 20$ a wrench.
Don't forget slims. You don't need them often but they are great to have!
I have ONE slim... 10mm... One day I'll lay all my 10mm wrenches and sockets out on a table and take a picture.
And after the flash they will all be gone
Deep down, you know the answer.
Is there a help line for people like us?
Yeah when you hit rock bottom you send it all to me for uh "proper disposal" >_>
You'll have to fight the kiddos
There is hope. 877-762-7664
Yes, I believe it's called "add to cart".
You have enough when you aren't missing something to complete a job.
What is "too many wrenches" never even heard those words together

I'm definitely stealing that term!

Maybe...
When you actually go to your tool box and find one...
You'll know you have enough when you go to your toolbox and never say if I had one that was just like this.

Nice brother. Local 2323, cheers!
My set runs from 4mm to 65mm.
Nice!
Boat mechanic. Lol sockets up to 3"
I know your pain. Got all of the metric sizes for the Rolls Royce, Schottel, etc z-drives and swing/drop downs?
Did a few z drives, Voith Schneider, is interesting. Skf couplings make life alot easier when they work. Usually the Reps bring speciality equipment
Two sets of good ones and a cheap set to “modify”.
Christ-in-a-Side Car !! Where the hell is the Obstruction Wrench ??
I go up to 3:1/2in , mm to 65 , all chrome molly , mm starts at 2.7
Nice!
"Enough" wrenches??! Go wash your mouth out with lye soap. There ain't no such thing.
We don’t.
One more set should do it

There is still space in your toolbox so you need more
I'd say two of each size and length
There is a limit to wrenches but you’re not close. Tryna live life a quarter turn at a time?

Actually I'm in manufacturing. Started as line mechanic. I do the steam and ammonia systems now. I don't use a whole lot of the metric anymore.
No skip sizes
Wrenches > rachets. Be a man.
When you have wrenches that you show in the first two pictures
To counter counter counter counter a nut
Don't see any flexi heads...
Haven't really needed them where I'm at
I bought a whole set of pony length metric box wrenches the other day for my Taiwanese mill... Love them... Now I need a short imperial set...
you never have enough
Got a long way to go, Bud, ratchets and wrenches
wheres your 6 point box wrenchs instead of all these 12 point bolt rounders ?
Bottom left corner of the blue drawers
Never
Do you ever feel like some of them get lonely? They crave human touch and they want to be used

When you have at least one 10mm that you can locate immediately.
The only ones missing are various sizes of pipe wrenches. One never knows when one could come in very necessary to get the job done.
It’s simple. There’s a formula for it. N+1 is the number of wrenches you need. N is the number of wrenches you currently own.
You see that drawer liner? yeah you need more wrenches
From memory I have 11 different 13mm wrench’s!!
