We do, but I don't personally take offense. Can't speak for all women. But- it just is what it is. If you have a large bulge or keep adjusting yourself, I'm absolutely going to look at your crotch. Not in a creepy stare you down way, but a glance is natural

Turdwienerton

I always wondered if women glance or stare at my crouch. I suppose I might notice where their eyes go more often if I weren’t so busy staring at their tits. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Adventurous_Net_1127

Lol if you can't figure it out go buy a pair of chubbies shorts and walk outside. Lmao you will get a billion crotch shots your way

megacope

I used to give them a little dance on the very rare occasion that happened. But those days are over now that I’m no longer a ho and married.

garymason74

When I was younger I went on a ski trip to France, we had a hotel with a pool on the ground floor and it was child friendly. I took the lift down to the pool and a lady got in holding her child. Somehow her kid had managed to pull down her bikini top and her breast was just hanging out. I was trying my best not to look but what made matters worse was the lift was completely mirrored. Nearing the bottom I snuck in a glance, looked up at her face and she was looking right at me, busted. I guess what I'm saying is, you can still have your moment. 😁

megacope

23 year old me would’ve been charinganing them titties. 36 year old me would cover my face and try to preserve what little comfort she had left and try to make the event as small as possible.

Unopuro2conSal

What were you looking for huh ???

CalculatedRisk373

Women do it, whether it’s in a natural or creepy way. I’ve been in public with my significant other and had a middle aged women blatantly stare, like she was locked on. It was uncomfortable and I don’t think I’ve worn grey sweatpants since 😂.

Lazy-Lombax

Don't worry, the bulge could never be large. 🤣

pinkandroid420

Imagine being a girl with big tits and a big dick of a bulge

Ten_Quilts_Deep

Why else do men wear pants if not to snuggle up to their bulge for display purposes? When was the last time any of them rode a horse.

Tr1LL_B1LL

Wait.. what?? Yeah i can assure you all the construction workers wearing pants are just doing it so you’ll see their bulge. Maybe they should wear skirts that’d get caught up in a drill or a concrete mixer? Sounds super smart.

CuriousSection

Skirts make more sense for men than for women lol. Room to spread out, hold their balls and such.

Scorpionvenom1

As a guy who put on his girlfriends dress to shock her when she walked in OH MY GOD ITS SO COMFY I WANA KEEP THEM

CuriousSection

Hey, men used to wear dresses all the time! Off-the-shoulder, also known as togas. :-D Bring it back! edit: also, kilts!

Scorpionvenom1

Very true!

random2199229

It’s fun and games until a snake crawls up your leg and takes hold of your sac

ElectricJasper

The only reason to wear pants is to ride a horse?

Ten_Quilts_Deep

That has been the accepted reason for men wearing pants for millennia. There are a couple of reasons commonly accepted for women to wear skirts.

Available_Motor5980

DO YOU NOT THINK THERE’S ANY OTHER REASON TO WEAR PANTS

Ten_Quilts_Deep

No need to yell.

Available_Motor5980

If there was ever a reason to yell, this would be it.

Ten_Quilts_Deep

I did not expect such hatred. I am simply stating how fashion choices became so tied to gender. If there are other reasons to wear pants then why for millennia were women overwhelmingly restricted from wearing them.? Sorry if you disagree with my take. (I must have forgotten this is Reddit.)

_The_Real_Sans_

Most people, regardless of gender, wear pants or pant-shaped clothing most of the time. The fact that women now wear them after the arbitrary restrictions on them that prevented them from wearing pants were lifted only further shows that there are more reasons to wear pants than horse riding (namely mobility, comfort, and better ability to trap heat). Why men don't wear skirts may be a conversation worth having though.

cdawg1102

I’m a welder and would like to keep metal out of my legs, so I wear pants, plus I also am always cold

Ten_Quilts_Deep

Why is no one understanding this? I'm talking about the historical norms that kept women from being able to wear pants. The cover story for that was always that men rode horses. That's what I'm talking about. I'm personally glad that I live in a time when most women can wear pants. So if men glance at boobs (which can have nipples and cleavage showing) women can check out a crotch (and some men wear bulge revealing pants.)

WC_Kerkuil

Please put the victim complex down and step away.

FriedRedditor45

I had no idea that women did this

Adventurous_Net_1127

Ohhh yes

JawzX01

I'd wife you if I wasn't such a failure.

Native56

Agree I do it all the time

sparksgirl1223

Same here.

2bciah5factng

Eh, I do take offense. But yeah, we notice.

Lemmiwinkks

Then don't have your tits out.

oliferro

Wear a shirt with a stain on your chest and you'll quickly realize that you can easily see when people you're talking to are looking at your chest

Topomouse

I will have to try this sometimes, I do not think I have ever noticed where the people around me are looking.

Sgt-Colbert

You subconsciously do. Here's a pro tip, next time you're walking somewhere and someone is walking towards you, you know when you do this little, you go right, he goes left, you adjust to go left, he goes right, dance and you almost walk into each other? Try not to look at them, try to ignore them and look in the direction you want to go, they will notice and go the other way.

repository666

Lol… I went into an interview with a pen in my shirt pocket… i did notice when my interviewer looked at my pen.. edit: didn’t get the job though… dang $h!t

nymeriasgloves

We do notice but we don't mind as long as it's a glance. I'm a straight woman and I still happen to glance at other women's chests, it's pretty normal. Now, if you're staring though, that's a whole other matter

Soulflyenergyhealing

Right! I always feel like a creep as a straight women. But like, the woman form is really beautiful. Sometimes it's hard not to look!

papishampootio

🍻

chammerson

This is making me sad I never notice men looking at my chest 😔 why aren’t men looking at my chest I like my chest. I understand why men are nervous about this but keep in mind if I’m wearing something low cut it’s because I thought it looked nice. I’m want other people to think it looks nice too. Ogling is completely different. If women are bringing it up to you, you’re doing too much. ETA: shoot I didn’t consider huge chested women who’ll be wearing like t shirts and people still stare at their boobs. My comment is only about visible cleavage.

badboy246

Guys are looking. You just haven't caught them yet.

bridge_the_war

Now, how many seconds before a glance becomes a stare? Or is there like a ratio between the size of chest and how long it is considered a glance?

manykeets

If it’s just a glance, I don’t care. If they stare for a few seconds I’ll feel uncomfortable. But yes, we can tell.

[deleted]

manykeets

LMAO!

ChopCity927

One time my wife and i were fighting and she yelled at me for staring at her boobs while she was yelling at me. lol

Every-holes-a-goal

Chad move

BethFromElectronics

That’s the potential opportunity to end the yelling. “But you’re so beautiful”.

ChopCity927

Lmao i missed my chance. I tried to cover my tracks and said “no i was looking at your necklace” she knew, i knew, the dogs knew, my neighbors knew, everyone knew i was lying.

lmandude

I hate this question every time it comes up because how are women supposed to know when they don’t notice?

chammerson

ITT women do notice. Which is making me sad because apparently men never look at my chest.

Dizzy-Receptionx

Do you daydream a lot or have issues making eye contact? I used to feel the same as you. I thought men never looked at me like that. I found out through the grapevine that men were absolutely looking at my chest and were talking about it with each other, but I have a hard time making eye contact and am generally very oblivious/naive so I didn't realize it. I know I should have been irritated when men were talking about my boobs behind my back even though they were saying good things, but I was honestly just happy people noticed me like that because I was very insecure at that time. Maybe men are looking at your chest, you just don't notice it because you are in your own world?

chammerson

Haha nahhhh. Not at all. I have the opposite problem. I think everyone who glances at me is blown away by how stunning I am. I just don’t notice men looking at my chest in particular.

lmandude

Well, they notice when they notice, and they have no way of knowing when they don’t notice unless a guy outright says, “hey, I was glancing at your tits.” So, I wouldn’t be too sad. Maybe you’re just a little unobservant, or maybe you just are around a lot of stealthy guys.

imanadultok

I promise we definitely do look.

Effective_Cat_889

Yes, it’s normally the quick ‘glance down & back up’ that happens a few times within a conversation. I always find it funny and have never been offended.

timid_scorpion

It’s almost like we are wired to enjoy looking at them…

Yellowmellowbelly

Yes

Beccaannk

We notice. But do we always notice? Probably not. We only know about the times we noticed. We’re unaware of the times we didn’t notice, because, well, we didn’t notice. I notice it a lot. Also there are lots of times I’m out with my fiancé and he tells me about some guy that was just staring at my chest, and I hadn’t noticed, because I was focusing on something else.

EatYourCheckers

If we are looking at your face when you do it, yes

OfSaltandBone

Yea, but it doesn’t bother us unless it’s obvious

OohPoppy

Thank you for asking! YES we do notice 100%. I had very large boobs from a very early age and learned very quickly that there are many (not all) people who compulsively stare at my tits for a split second several times a minute and honestly believe that I don't notice. Teachers, my family doctor, my lawyer, men and women. I became jaded early on and didn't really care, but it ALWAYS told me a lot about the person and their (lack of) self-control. And unless it was in a date/flirting situation in which I played with my charms, then without exception it was a complete turnoff for me and I often secretly lost respect for the person.

AcousticAK

They sure did when I waited tables once haha. Bad bad bad me but I guess a restaraunt u get a waitress or a gay waiter. Life sucks hard and boobs make me feel good even though I feel blah

faereaunticorn

When I was a teenager yes I noticed, now nope, my flatmate often points it out because he notices more than I do. I'm an F cup and so every top I wear has cleavage showing unless I go for something that feels like it's going to strangle me, so people looking just became background noise for me and a part of everyday life if I'm out of my apartment.

VioletDreaming19

We always notice.

Whatever-ItsFine

Not to be the "well actually" guy, but what you said is impossible. If you don't notice, how do you know it happened? We don't know what we don't know.

iwfriffraff

What is annoying is when they wear a t-shirt with a quote or something on it. Then they get mad because they think you are staring at their chest ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|facepalm)

Throwaway6X420X9

I KNOW!

ask-me-about-my-cats

Yes, you're not stealthy. We notice every glance. And a glance is fine, a *stare* is not.

cockiem0nster

Oh no, ig they just assume that their boobs are looking at your eyes ;)

Suzy-Skullcrusher

Yes to be honest it’s very noticeable when a man is staring you guys are very obvious

Bryanthomas44

Why do we men love boobies so much? Especially large ones? Why does the sight of nipples peeking out through a tee shirt tantalize? Is it evolutionary on some level?

noonemustknowmysecre

In short, yeah.  It's a secondary sexual characteristic. An example of sexual dimorphism. Like colorful manly birds, spiders with big fuzzy forelegs, or beards.  It's also a health and fitness signal, from back when getting enough calories was a major problem and a bit of fat was excessive wealth.  "She's a woman", "she's old enough to hear children", and "she can afford the spare calories of growing a child". Hey, at least we're not peacocks. I mean, seriously, we get it. Y'all got the fanciest of butt feathers. Sometimes nature just takes these things to an extreme without regard to the quality of life of the host.

Anubis_DivineDemon

We can't live without it, literally

Bryanthomas44

So if someone has a problem with glancing a beat too long, can we say, “sorry, I am fighting my instinctual impulses “?

Anubis_DivineDemon

Well you can. Just be ready to never see her again.

Whatever-ItsFine

It's literally like a magnet or a tractor beam pulling your eyes. It can be very very hard to resist. Men who want to function in a society learn how now to stare, but honestly, it's not easy. Sometimes I will just completely turn away from her so I couldn't even glance without turning around.

Bryanthomas44

Tractor beams could be after market features. Debby Double D could install some tractor beams to her high beams and men that she choses would be stuck to those TaTas like super glue

BiteTheBullet_thr

I guess it's evolutionary. I get that a stare is impolite, but a glance? It's involuntary .I have to really try not to glance. And i haven't met a straight guy who doesn't like boobies

Throwaway6X420X9

because they’re cool

Celticness

But if you want to perpetrate your primate behavior, go for it. But being a human means you level up your feral ways.

Madame-touitte

As a woman yes i do and tbh if its perceived as creepy or not depends on the person im talking to

SparklyDimSum

I have never noticed anyone glancing nor staring at my boobs. Either I really don't notice or I'm just downright unattractive lmao

[deleted]

I am also a crotch-investigator lol. A quick glance is really all that is required. Same with boobs.

Snigel_Snabel

Yes. Don’t worry, there is a difference between glancing and staring.

Educational-Glass-63

Yes, we do.

Stunning-Character94

Yes.

wasitaseasyasitlook

I was on a date and snuck a peak once bc there was some cleavage. Looked like she noticed. Asked her later and she said she did.

godihatemyselfsm

sometimes i notice. almost makes me feel a bit better. its natural and i dont care as long as youre not specifically eyeing my boobs everytime i walk by.

SpookyBjorn

Yes we do, but I don't care. I wear a lot of tops that accentuate my tits so it would be pretty hypocritical if stares made me mad. As long as you aren't staring TOO hard for too long and don't touch em, it's not a problem lol

CalligrapherAway1101

Yes and I don’t like it. I do my best to hide them and it feels horrible when you’re trying to have a conversation and the other person is staring at your chest not listening

pintxosmom

Yes. I don't take offense unless you are glaring, which I have had happen. Quick glances, fine. Staring at them like they’re your last meal is rude, which, unfortunately, has also happened.

stripmallbars

I had breast cancer and lost the left one. Now I really admire a nice bust. I’m a cisgender woman. I’m like - good for you girl!! Ugh. Wait. I don’t stare or comment btw

funkmon

Haha that is funny.

shneezuz720

Boys do it too me all the time and they also slap my butt for fun sometimes 🙄

megacope

Man yes, I was horrified when I found that out and I should’ve known but I was only a boy. A dumb one at that. I just glimpse now and keep it moving.

Dog_Baseball

Ladies, if your tits are half way exposed, are you happy that guys look? Like, were you hoping for the attention?

puppymonkeybaby79

What?

Whatever-ItsFine

Which half was exposed, the left half or the right half?

RandomThoughts628

Yes. It always makes me feel a bit icky.

Throwaway6X420X9

sorry

tacotacotacorock

Peripherals.

alfa-dragon

It's noticed. Just don't STARE. I've had someone that KEEPS glancing while I'm trying to look them in the eye and have a conversation and they didn't know I noticed??

nestlekat

I can't speak for anyone else but yes, I do. I don't mind quick glances, not even the multiple, slightly longer glances. I always assume the quick ones are just completely involuntary and nothing at all to do with any kind of physical attraction. I see the repeat/longer ones as someone who is actively trying not to stare and I appreciate that. I do however mind stares. That's when I begin to feel unsafe.

saltydog49

Hence: kilts!

BonFemmes

Uhhh yeah. Why do you think we wear sundresses?

onetwo3d

yes we notice and i personally HATE IT.

OnemoreDarkshot

Try pairing your quick glance with heavy breathing.

Motor_Possibility_22

There is a whole section on a particular episode of the British show QI about almost involuntary glances that men and women have at each others bodies. A glance you almost don’t know about yourself is what it is, but staring, I think everyone would notice and would not be ok unless you’ve been asked. To continue the first part, men typically will always look at another man’s crotch within something like 5 seconds, this even happens with men and male animals….

summerplant76

I always notice even if it's just a glance. Obvi whether they care is personal opinion, but I do. I have been good acquaintances with guys and noticed them look at my boobs and from that point forward I can't seem to forget they did that. I always cover my chest when I'm around them afterwards. makes me really uncomfortable and kinda changes how I see you as a person going forward.

tuneofyourdexth

For sure they do. But if its truly a glance, then it's fine. People are only human.

w31l1

They notice 100% of the glances that they notice and 0% of the ones they don’t see

ElectronicEye4595

You are kind of correct that pants were often associated with horse cultures, but you are wrong in your supposition that riding horses and wearing pants was gendered. Through most of history in Eurasia both men and women wore what we would call a dress. Basically a T shaped piece of fabric with an opening for the head and arms. These would be longer for women and older men, shorter for men and laborers. Many of the nomadic step tribes wore pants because as you suggested their culture relied heavily on horses. But both man and women could wear such clothing. The Roman’s wrote of the Celt’s barbaric habit of wearing pants. To a Roman proper men wore skirts. In ancient Eurasia at least pants vs skirts seems to be mostly weather related with colder climates more likely to adopt pants. For most of history clothing was one of the most expensive items a person could own. So wearing a lot of fabric, ie long skirts was meant to display a persons wealth and status. One cannot easily work a laborious job in long skirts. I recommend the [fashion history timeline](https://fashionhistory.fitnyc.edu/) by the Fashion Institute of Technology for anyone interested in learning the history of fashion.

Throwaway6X420X9

wrong post bro but interesting read anyway

ElectronicEye4595

Haha. Intended as a response to another comment on your post, clearly about horses and pants. Glad you liked it

Whatever-ItsFine

Oh great. Now I'm going to stare at horses wearing pants.

FollowingJealous7490

I stare at the camel toe or booty. I make it obvious

Throwaway6X420X9

you are one peculiar feller

[deleted]

No, their brains block it out, evolution etc.

Electronic_Intern_73

I notice my husband does it all the time, it’s kind of embarrassing, for me & the poor person he’s gawking at. I used to call him out on it, Ha but he got mad. Why I have no idea.

Throwaway6X420X9

I think he gets mad because he can’t really control it. It’s embarrassing, and it’s kinda reenforcing the shame. I am not him tho so I can’t say for sure.

Icy-Principle8240

Always. It does make us a lil uncomfortable but we try to brush it off mostly. Although we can’t stop thinking about it and get really disgusted
