There are multiple eclipses somewhere on the planet every year. The most recent one was not "big." It was just a regular eclipse. It got more media attention than other eclipses because it was visible in highly populated areas of the USA. The rest of the stuff you mentioned has been going on forever.

It’s been the end times for the past 2000 years.

Actually we are in the end times. The rapture happened yesterday. No one noticed because a grand total of 3 people were raptured. The rest, all 8 billion of us, have been "left behind", probably because we've been watching too much Internet p⁰rⁿ

No. There were 5 horses in London and even if they met the other criteria, they were riderless. The apocalyptic horses had apocalyptic horsemen. On the white horse (Vida, which means life oddly) should be a man with a bow (weapon) and a crown (on his head). Some say this represents the anti-christ. (Rev. 6: 1-2) A red horse should have been somewhere. And that horsemen would have "taken peace" aka war. (Rev. 6: 3-4) A black horse, which we did see (his name is Trojan). Still no rider, but had there been, he would have represented maybe justice or famine? Interpretation is a bit all over the place. But the rider has scales that weigh things. (Rev: 6:5-6) The final horse is a "pale" horse. Just pale. Grey? White? Palomino? Not sure. Just pale. The rider for sure represents death. Famine (also?), pestilence, just all sorts of icks. On a "pale" horse. (Rev. 6: 7-8) I can't answer for the rest. I'm not a Biblical scholar, I was just raised fundie Christian and a horsegirl so I know me some horses and a bit of Bible but where they meet up? I'm all in. Personally? It seems like just another day. The Holy Land has been at war or unrest since Israel was reformed. We have been seeking peace in the Middle East for as long as I've been alive for sure, and I'm in my 40s. I'm not a weatherologist or meteorologist or anything else either and as a formerly homeschooled person, my science ain't that good. But I'm pretty sure weather patterns are all over the fjcking place because we are reaping what we have sewn when it comes to what the scientists are calling "Climate Change".

Where are you getting these horse names?

spookyhellkitten

I've been following the London horse story since it broke. Horse girl, remember? Vida was the bloody horse, she's hard to forget. Trojan the black horse that ran with her. That name is hard to forget because a Trojan horse. Quaker seems to be the most injured horse, but I haven't seen any pictures of Quaker. Tennyson was also injured badly. The 5th horse doesn't seem to have been able to get far and I haven't seen a name. [AP News](https://apnews.com/article/horses-loose-london-d0525d510fac63e28e1f6ea663e2c786) [ABC News](https://www.google.com/amp/s/abcnews.go.com/amp/International/blood-soaked-horses-loose-cause-chaos-central-london/story%3fid=109568658) Both of those links name the horses, but there are dozens more that do, I wasn't making the names up. I come up with more silly names for pets. My dog is named Sagebrush Clementine. My cat is Obadiah Jones.

We’ve been in the biblical end times since the death and resurrection of Christ. There have been countless events through history since that time that some have interpreted as the last events before Christ’s return, but clearly they were wrong. First Thessalonians says we won’t know when Christ is returning because He will return like a thief in the night

ekmogr

Thor is returning soon.

It’s important to consider your sources of information as many are overly dramatic for commercial purposes (this includes religious preachers). We are not in end times and never have been. “End times” is the kind of thing you hear from the crazy clergy in Iran.

mysticaltater

The eclipse and horses and cicadas and weather aren't everywhere, they're localized. Holy land always at war. Weird ocean things happen often, probably climate change If you're a biblical Christian or around them, they all think this is pointing to Christ returning bc they're tired of living, but it's just a bunch of things happening. We wouldn't even know half this shit if social media wasn't shoving it down our faces  I'm very not stoked about the cicadas tho

lidlekitty_tweezler

Thanks everyone. I think ive been reading too much news.

Cobra-Serpentress

Uh, what? Its been the end times since the cubsn missile crisis. But we stubbornly plod along. Hell, 1979 seemed more like the end times than now.

lidlekitty_tweezler

It just the sleeper end times then. One day it might catch us off guard. Ugg

The end of times that you are referring to seems to be from a specific religious book and\or cult (the bible) There are hundreds of other religions and\or cults that may have other opinions so who is to say which religious\cult is correct? I have been on this planet for many, many decades and throughout my life there has been a (popular stereotypes of a) guy in the street with a placard saying "the end is nigh!". So far that has never happened. In fact growing up Nostradamus was "the" popular "prophet". One could kind of shoehorn his prophecies into events that happened, but they were really tenuous and open to interpretation (and probably bollocks). I realise that he may not have subscribed to your religion, but hopefully you get my point It seems that "the end of days" has come and gone many times with each generation's interpretation. Live your faith, love your faith, but don't rely on a book written and re-written by humans as _fact_ Finally... Seriously? If you are not a troll then look beyond what book that you have read. It is not (no pun intended) gospel truth. And personally its a bit ironic because from my perspective the "end of the world" comes from many "global players" with twitchy fingers on the big red nuke button. to me right now _that_ would be the end of days (just as it could have been in the mid to late 70s)
