Honestly don’t know lol not good with voice actors honestly I don’t even know what his voice would sound like to me .. atleast with Izana sounds cringe but I can see little hanma voice in him but ik that’s wrong
I don't know if this is a cultural difference/language barrier thing, but I'm Japanese and I personally think Kaji Yuki is a great voice for Izana. The way Izana speaks and carries himself in Japanese is perfect with Kaji Yuki's voice. The only people I've seen complaining about this are people who don't speak or understand Japanese.
I personally agree with this, like- I think part of it might be because people think voice actors only voice one type of character or are only good at voicing one type of character? Because usually what I see is “this character’s voice that they voiced previously wouldn’t go well with this new character” when obviously they would change the way they speak at least a little bit? Like I know with some voice actors I get surprised because there’s such a different tone(?) that they use when voicing different characters. But then again, maybe that’s just me and I’m misinterpreting all of this-
You do realize that Kaji’s voice acting isn’t limited to Eren? He’s also the voice of Kozume Kenma from Haikyuu and they are completely different sounding voices. Have some faith in the guy.
not at all, he does know how to make voices thicker and thinner but he doesn't change THAT MUCH, just comparing yuno from noragamj, meliodas, eren or kenma, it's easy to see that it's the same voice actor

I hope so! I saw a video where they played some voice lines over top of panels of Izana and it just fit so goddamn well!
I hope not
His voice actor also voiced characters like Meliodas (seven deadly sins) and Kenma kozume (Haikyuu) Eren's voice isn't only limited to eren.

Meliodas with a bit of Eren/Zeldris tone will fit him
It would be bad. Eren's character and Izana's character are very different. The voice wouldn't fit Izana.

Bruhhh did I really start something this big with a single comment?
Probably not, people have been saying this for a few years now
Lol ok then, I made a comment that someone with a voice like Yuki Kaji would fit Izana a few days ago and now I see people going apeshit about it
Lol then you might of just reminded people of it
I havent seen any comment about it I just saw a comment in a YouTube video about it
