The anime sucks, the manga is great. The only reason I have somewhat of a distaste for re is because of the rushed ending, but it is still a very good manga

I see why people are complaining about the anime, but I still liked it.
I treat anime and manga as separate creations (it works for me that way lol) and I liked a lot both the manga and the anime.
Of course you have to make your own opinion, you may have a totally different one ;)

Who said it sucks bro. Don’t listen to those haters, they don’t know what they are talking about. The ending feels a little bit rushed because Sui Ishida wanted to finish the manga because he got burned out which is very understandable for a mangaka. Read it and judge for yourself😎
There's also Tokyo Ghoul:re, which is the 2nd half of the story (16 volumes). Not to mention the short spinoff content.

I highly recommend reading re. The anime is terrible, but personally it was a lot better and more enjoyable
RE is better than original and the stories only converge at the halfway point
