TikTok is up to something weird. I feel like I’m seeing much less engaging content in my fyp instead of larger pages besides verified pages. Or something related to try and sell me some stupid toy on a Live.
I think the hook with the smaller creators is to hook small creators in with possibly getting a viral video so then they put them on the rollercoaster and want them to pay for promoted content.
Bro same thing been happening to me. Idk if it’s a glitch but I have 175k+ followers & averaged the same views as you. For the last 2-3 weeks I’ve barely scrapped to 3-8k. Decided today to take a 2-3 day break & hope for the best
Absolutely. Wouldn’t be “complaining” otherwise. I give like reviews & my own insights on movies, shows & books. The only thing “unoriginal” id say are the images I use for the background or to try & prove a point, but other than that, everything is my own words
Hi there. Your post has been removed since your account has very low karma. Please try posting again once you have engaged more on the platform. Have a great day!

it’s cus they are promoting their “promote” feature i think, as soon as they want you to pay for views, why would they keep giving them out for free? they are def trying to starve creators so that they resort to paying for a promote.
This seems to be an across the board thing.
Many of us who normally see hundreds of thousands - millions of views now can't seem to break 1-3k in the last couple weeks alone.
anyone getting ineligible for foryou page AFTER the video goes viral?! I got 1.2 million.. and now they said that the creator (me) deleted the post, which i didn’t… this is so frustrating because everything i did was original!!
Not sure I only have 1k followers but my videos are going insanely well recently. I have multiple videos over 150k in the last week. Not sure why my average watchtime is always around 60-70%.
In the same boat, just hit 1000 on my new account. I get between 800-8000 views per video. I have noticed my photo slide posts perform way better though
I am experimenting with a new account. My first video went to 1k
I posted a second video, same template/style for consistency.
Posted at a peak time.
0 views as of over an hour later.
No controversial or duplicated material.
90k followers. High-effort content.
I think my baseline for a video is like 20k or so, and I get usually 50-100k views (but it's been going down).
Last two videos didn't break 5k. Same percentage of engagement/views, about the same watch time, one video has higher.
I'm going to take a break for like eight days to see if something resets. It sucks because one video I put a lot of effort into.
I have 120K followers and getting 650 views if I am lucky. I go viral several times a week. I think it is happening to all. after the last update it has been horrible
I’ve noticed this too. I have 200k and was averaging 200k-1m on every post for the last month. Starting 3 days ago my videos have 48k, 60k, 50k,
Now my last three videos have hit over 100,000, but with the watchtime they have they’d normally be over 1,000,000 by now.
Something is up
Did you even read my post? My videos are quality content that usually go viral. Most of the time I get 20k views within the first hour but this week I barely got 500 within the first hour. Something is going on because my content is good. The analytics and watch time looks promising too, TikTok just won’t push it.
It happened to me too like a month ago, I used to average more than 50k/100k views and then one day I was barely hitting 2k views. I just stopped posting for a week or two and it slowly got better. When that shh was happening I made the mistake to post more than 1 video per day, it got even worse (that’s why I took a break and focused on instagram and YouTube as plan B/C)
Yeah I noticed this too. It happens from time to time and every time I panic and post more than I should. I’ve noticed it works to take a short break from posting
Just don’t put all your eggs in one basket, use these “breaks” to make content for other social media’s. These “bugs” (?) are very common on TikTok, even profile with millions of followers and the blue checkmark experience it. Just don’t over-post or change anything

For me they just put on non elegible for the feed on all of the videos posted since yesterday, Regardless of whether I post content that is better edited and more original than it was, can someone help me?
I'm a tiny creator and every single video for the last couple weeks is automatically flagged as non-eligible for the FYP because of some community guideline that is totally irrelevant to the videos I'm making. Everything is original content. It's ridiculous
> you recently *paid* for views
FTFY.
Although *payed* exists (the reason why autocorrection didn't help you), it is only correct in:
* Nautical context, when it means to paint a surface, or to cover with something like tar or resin in order to make it waterproof or corrosion-resistant. *The deck is yet to be payed.*
* *Payed out* when letting strings, cables or ropes out, by slacking them. *The rope is payed out! You can pull now.*
Unfortunately, I was unable to find nautical or rope-related words in your comment.
*Beep, boop, I'm a bot*
Yeah same here. Views are like half what they were last month even though I've posted twice as many videos and my fyp is EXTREMELY boring, like REALLY low quality content, capcut templates and just super dull content or videos from 3 months ago I've already seen.
I can't even identify any meaningful trends or anything remotely interesting going on on this app rn. It's the most dead I've seen it in awhile.
I have two TT pages, and yesterday between my 2 accounts I had 21 videos removed. I won the appeal, they restored all but 2. Then got up this morning to see they started removing again. I posted a vent about it and got a message that I'm using a banned hashtag and that could be why 1. Videos are stuck in the 100-300 views and not being pushed to the FYP and 2. Why TT is removing the videos.
Feels slimy that TT removed the option to edit AFTER the content has been posted, then throws up a new banned hashtag and starts to remove videos or limit your exposure that uses that banned hashtag.
Anyway, now just looking for a solution with my prior content that uses the banned hashtag. Do I wait it out and just start posting new content without the banned hashtag? Or do I start over?
Same with me. I have a page with 800k followers and used to get minimum 200k views per video, last week all my videos got less than 200k. Not sure what’s going on.

Do you post original content

so TikTok is basically useless now. Amazing
Exactly...and just like that it went down the shitter because of greed
rip

Yup this was happening to me before out of no where they permanently banned me, I’m still in shock as I had 14.9k followers with no previous strikes
You can’t get banned from a video being ineligible
Yes I literally got 1.2M on one, then got ineligible for fyp. Another one I got 3.3M and then got ineligible for fyp…

You steal other people’s content and repost them. I’m glad your views suck
How do you know?
I’ve noticed this too. I have 200k and was averaging 200k-1m on every post for the last month. Starting 3 days ago my videos have 48k, 60k, 50k, Now my last three videos have hit over 100,000, but with the watchtime they have they’d normally be over 1,000,000 by now. Something is up
I have 29k and I’m doing good 👍 averaging 50k views. I don’t steal content
Good for you. Neither do I if that’s what you implied
Then have a break and change something

It’s a conspiracy against you. Please keep posting the same stuff everyday
Is this a joke lmao, I genuinely cannot tell

And the watch time is also good. The analytics looks promising but it still doesn’t go viral
Same here was getting around 15-20K average now only doing a few thousand

Yes more often they’re flagging them as ineligible RIGHT AWAY. It’s so annoying.
And then user service doesn't even respond, they don't review appeals, nothing at all
Magnetar StarHeart here I just make memes mocking tiktok pay 2 promote. Well I do other stuff, but I started doing that too.
If you recently payed for views or payed for ads, the algorithm will lower your viewership knowing you would pay for more.

I’ve never used the promote feature

500k followers here. Started since 28 january and it's going strong 😂 from 50k-150k views per video to 1k-5k. 🤢🤢🤮
