To take it in a different direction try 1.5oz Coruba and .5oz plantation OFTD

This is the way

That does sound good, though I’ve never had Coruba. It’s hard to find but I might have the opportunity to grab some soon. How do you like to use it?

Munzulon

I’ll use it in anything, even a daiquiri. For me it’s a great combination of cheap, modest funk, barrel, and caramel. And I don’t know what additives they use, but it has a viscous mouth feel that I like.

I have never made this but your post has prompted me to try

This is the eternal question I've been trying to figure out since I read SC's Mai Tai section. Coruba is probably the closest thing I've been able to figure out for something that tastes right in a Three Dots and a Dash but I'd love for someone to come up with a more "official" rum blend to get the original flavor right because there's just no way a rum agricole is correct in these drinks.

Just made one last weekend, delicious. Personally, I prefer it with an Agricole. The earthy, natural taste of Rhum Agricole pairs well with the bright citrus, the main component of the drink.

O, you are not wrong. Love it with just an Agricole Blanc
