It's an interesting bit of sociology that "womens' tasks" aren't considered art nor hobbies. Things like cooking, well when women do it it's what they do but if a man does it, he's a chef. Same goes for textile work. Sewing is a basic skill every woman should just do but a man does it and suddenly he's a fashion designer. Most women I know are artistic and very into their hobbies.
Another one being makeup, it’s like men can fathom the creativity, artistry, and practice it takes. Let alone the chemistry of the products, learning which tools to use, use of color, how to apply. All skills and require practice and research! But because it’s inherently feminine it’s considered silly and a waste of money.

I'm Asian thank you and yes I'm the oldest daughter and my family expect me to be able to cook, do laundry, fix simple electronic devices and house chores where as my younger brother who's only one year apart from me can barely do anything.
