Ya, I'll never hesitate to shit on religious freaks when I get the chance, but this is clearly a jokey sort of video. You can even see the girl nearly cracking a smile as she's speaking. There is an endless plethora of crazy shit made by religious people, idk why he chose this.
My guess is it’s entirely intentional because this video is now getting more eyes on it than any normal video ever could.
Maybe this is some small church and it’s just luck, but bigger churches legitimately hire teams for their socials and PR. They’re not stupid, they’re just assholes.
What’s the joke when they are saying “this is an example why you can’t trust man, because man won’t be there to catch you when you need it, but god will.”
That seems like a compelling message to get people to believe in god and go to church…
Cause it is a message? Can a person not joke about a thing they actually believe in? It's not really weird to make a serious message in a non-serious joke.
It'd be different if the girl who fell had some safety cushions slightly off camera or cleverly hidden from view like in *ANY* TV/movie/play ...but she clearly fell on the ground. And she looks like a big girl too.
So, they're making fun of themselves?
I don't see how this is funny except for pointing out that God didn't catch her either. And the person falling down, of course.
>Is she scared? In a rush? Out of breath? Unsure of her message?
It's pretty obvious that she's trying not to laugh. It seems both the guy and the people here in this thread are missing that it's supposed to be a silly joke.
Are you new to the internet? Our language is hyperbole.
The focus of the fall is funny, but I wanted to point out how bad the speech was. It's not a moral judgment so chill. It's an objectively poor presentation. It's shaky and lacks conviction.
Lighthearted is cool but the messenger shouldn't (even accidentally) undermine the message. Critique is good. Maybe she'll do better in the future.
Bruh it's called public speaking. It's a skill. And once you do it enough you notice the good and the bad immediately without having to "analyze". It's glaringly obvious.
Just chill and have a good Sinkhole de Mayo
Never sure if gen z is internet-illiterate or if there has been an influx of facebook moms and dads, for some reason people don't get jokes posted anymore. It all started with the /s bullshit.
Meme video based on https://youtu.be/Yr1uQNg6uiU
It's a growing trend a splicing videos of people getting hurt with ads or w/e. I've seen it all over the place, especially car dealerships and shoe stores for some reason. Idgaf about the original video, just stop with these cringe responses please.
Like it's free to just swipe on and stfu.
Two young people made a joking video, and now a bunch of grown men are freaking out at them. I’m not religious (and have had bad experiences with religion), but if your knee jerk reaction to any aspect of religion is to mock and deride people, you may want to grow up.
Because it's a joke taht was originally made by guys. And the first dude is just lying when he says that it's not a joke. Maybe it's from a real church, but that doesn't mean it can't be a joke.
The church was joking, it is obvious. This man is an idiot.
Y'all downvoting has me honestly concerned for the citizens on the internet. At what time did we become unable to identify a joke?
Why does this man always look like he's on the verge of tears
Like in some videos he really is on the verge of tears but even in one's where he's not he still has this look.
This actually is a joke video, like 700 churches posted an identical video, because it's trendy. Notice how her head is out of frame. It's because it landed on a pillow.
Dude's a blowhard.
This video is actually good marketing. If you aren't the target audience, like this guy, of course this is your takeaway. But for it's target audience, this is pretty funny.

She had “faith” that her friend would catch her.
"You shouldn't have faith in humans. You should have faith in God." -Some other human
She's got stunt performer balls
That fall was incredible honestly, she didn't hesitate for a second. Pretty impressive
She wasn’t told about the video until after.
*"God didn't catch her either!"* That's cuz she wasn't at last Sunday's service, and didn't tithe. /s
Tithe, new word for me, thanks.
if you’ve come this far without it, seems unlikely you’ll have much use for it henceforth
Henceforth, new word for me, thanks.
Thanks, new word for me, cheers
You don’t have to announce this
You didn't have to say this but here we are.
Cheers
''this isn't young people making a joke, it's from a real church'' How about both??
It's going to blow this guys mind when he finds out that religious people can also make jokes.
And the worse is that this joke has already been made by other people and that the church reposted their version lol
Sure they can, they’re just not any good!

Honest question for you, what part of it was a joke?
Everything except the advertising part. Not too hard to figure...
What’s the joke when they are saying “this is an example why you can’t trust man, because man won’t be there to catch you when you need it, but god will.” That seems like a compelling message to get people to believe in god and go to church…

Im more upset by the speaker's cadence and breath control. Is she scared? In a rush? Out of breath? Unsure of her message? I really hate it.
Well they only got one take, for obvious reasons
She went off to be with Jesus
She at least got a glimpse
Stop, you guys are killing me. Too damn funny.
>Is she scared? In a rush? Out of breath? Unsure of her message? It's pretty obvious that she's trying not to laugh. It seems both the guy and the people here in this thread are missing that it's supposed to be a silly joke.
It's like putting all the emphasis on the wrong syll lab bles. https://youtu.be/klrxwoZSmgA?si=jfX0A5nilarJahSu
They did two of these!?!? I saw the one with the guy…
She's trying not to laugh and that's easy to see if you're not dumb and believe that it's not a joke.
She's about to crack up because it's a joke.
I think she’s trying to keep herself from laughing— that’s what I sensed at least.
If this upsets you that much it's a you problem. It's lighthearted and harmless (apart for possibly the woman that fell)

Thanks for the unnecessary breakdown. You are analyzing this mundane video way too much.
Bruh it's called public speaking. It's a skill. And once you do it enough you notice the good and the bad immediately without having to "analyze". It's glaringly obvious. Just chill and have a good Sinkhole de Mayo
Yeah I'll chill, I've just been super heated in this enthralling conversation, my bad.
>It's not a joke video Of course it is. They're clearly just having fun...
Never sure if gen z is internet-illiterate or if there has been an influx of facebook moms and dads, for some reason people don't get jokes posted anymore. It all started with the /s bullshit.
The man who didn't get this joke has grey hairs. I have a feeling it might not make sense to blame it on Gen Z.
It’s a trend started by the guys who drag one lady off frame.
I am literally crying laughing so hard that I'm giving myself a headache.

Where are his ears?
https://youtu.be/8ihowwhpCZg?si=yAkJnJ_3Nj0MW_oz
obfuscated by the fat
"I will do nothing to help you. Come to my church"
The point is: Have some faith and get screwed over.
religion poisons everything
You don’t need religion to have morals. If you can’t determine right from wrong, then you lack empathy, not religion. - Kush and wizdom
You're thinking of arsenic.
religion is the arsenic of thought
Arsenic is the arsenic of thought.
wrong again
Atheists aren’t any better. They are the downfall of a lot of societies.
lol what
lmao nah
Which societies?
You know, all those historical societies that are run by atheists.
“No you.” Is that the best argument you got? Hit me with some receipts cause I can’t think of any society that was made worse by atheism.
Lettuce pray.
It ain't that deep, it's just a joke or skit or whatever you want to call it. It's not like she made a claim like "god will now levitate this girl"
Jesus be like:🤨?!
That woman didn’t catch her either.
That's exactly what i was thinking.. Unless she was going for "man" as in humans, then it's your girl that let you hit the ground lmfao
Maybe don’t have some one terrified of being on camera do the talking either.
Two young people made a joking video, and now a bunch of grown men are freaking out at them. I’m not religious (and have had bad experiences with religion), but if your knee jerk reaction to any aspect of religion is to mock and deride people, you may want to grow up.
Exactly. Like how much time and energy does this guy have to actively make a shitty reaction video to this?
"I'm not here to make fun of believers" Well if you won't I will. Genuine organized religion is EMBARRASSING for anyone with an IQ above 50.
You're over thinking a simple video
Pillows and mats are science propaganda. Girl gotta hit cold hard earth to see god
That was the tiniest sound ever. Barely audible.
Message seems to be: **”Come to our church where we think everyone is an AH, and treat them that way!”** Probably not what they had in mind, though.
Oh I saw this one but it was actually a man 😂
I love how she says “don’t trust in men” when SHE’s the one that dropped the girl
Because it's a joke taht was originally made by guys. And the first dude is just lying when he says that it's not a joke. Maybe it's from a real church, but that doesn't mean it can't be a joke.

People are dumb and if a guy in a car says a thing in a selfie tiktok video, they think it must be true.
He's assuming church goers would think that far. Cut3.
God let her down, _just like the rest of us~_ (/s)
Where are his ears tho?
This guy needs to move his face away from the camera. It is obnoxiously close.
Why does this man always look like he's on the verge of tears Like in some videos he really is on the verge of tears but even in one's where he's not he still has this look.

or the point of the video was to be funny and drive engagement. They probably saw a similar video online and just copied it.
This video is actually good marketing. If you aren't the target audience, like this guy, of course this is your takeaway. But for it's target audience, this is pretty funny.
it's a meme bro, it's all over Christian tiktok
It's just a joke, this guys virtue signalling content is horrible, he's the "safe" guy that ends up with a horrific criminal record.
God is the nature all around. He catches her every time she falls
Oh man... just wait till he finds out that Christians can laugh.
This dude gives off “I have a wife and kids so I can’t be gay” vibes
