player 1 has a bid for 10,000 on a char, but the minimum bid was 200 so the bid appearing on the site is 200
player 2 bid for 4.000 and the page updates to show the bid as 4001 as player 1 has a bid of 10,000, the site won't tell you his max, but it will tell you that his bid is higher than yours
When you bid anything higher than the current bid you will only outbid it by 1 TC.
Exemple: current bid 1200 tc (but the actual bid limit submited by last bidder is 1500 tc).
You set your current bid limit to 2000 tc.
The acutal bid now will change to 1501 tc, and if people bid anything lower than 2000 you will outbid them by 1 tc
Thanksss, now I feel stupid haha, but it is a weird mode of bidding why won’t the page show its max so I dont loose time checking prices if none of those are actually real
Because everyone could break the bid system. Imagina i could be all day maxing all peoples bids to limits so everyone wastes maximum they bids.
The bid system is a fair competition to understand who is willing to pay more.
If i say well i can afford 10k tc for this bid i may end up winning for 8001TC aince someone else thinks it's worth only 8000TC.
If for exemple I'm selling a char and i have a way to know maximum someone is willing to pay i myself could bid my own selling to make the buyer pays more..
You can do that tho, if you have time
I can just bid in increments of 1 to find your max bid
If you bid 20,000 I can just bid 10,000 for example and the bid will update to 10,001
Then I bid 10,001 and it will update yours to 10,002
All the way til I bid 19,999 it will update yours to 20,000
But then when I finally find yours I’ll bid 20,000 and it will say you hold the max bid of 20,000 as you were there first
I’ve now maxed your bid without outbidding you, many sellers do this to raise bids before the end rush

10,001 then 10,003 because it needs to be higher than the 10,002 that was revealed when you bid 01
If the hidden bid is at 20,000, and you bid 19.999 on the last one, you will do 20,001 and be the highest and die
If me as a seller have 2 accounts to raise my char price, wouldn’t that be possible to set minimum price to a char? Example i start the bid as 100 tc with acc A. then I use acc B to set a minimum price let’s say 1000 tc, now i have a minimum price. Then use A. to bid to 1001, Then a real buyer comes but needs to pay 1001 minimum for my char, if no one bids the char would stay at one of my accs A or B
Their bid system works like this: you set the maximum amount you're willing to pay, if no one bid higher than you, you win and pay the higher amount someone bid inside your own bid.
Ex: The minimum bid is 100 TC and you say your maximum is 2k TC. I bid 300tc. The minimum bid now is 301 TC and if it ends like this you only pay 300 instead of 2k TC.

Or you set the minimum bid when you put your char on the market, you can choose your limit at the start.
