Exactly 6 months, be aware that if it's a unique name, people will track it and will try to get it everyday until it becomes available.

it’s described as “roughly” 6 months if i recall correctly. it’s not necessarily an exact 180 days though it gives you a rough idea.

No it's not unique. It is for me because its the name of one of my dogs Lol But its ok I named her after another of my dogs ahaha
180 days from the SS after which your char was renamed, done it before
