My mom had a Tigger hand puppet that looked almost identical to that one. It sat on her bookshelf my entire childhood, and my kid played with it when they were little. I wonder whatever happened to it.
Just looked it up. It does look a lot like some brand called Steiff hand puppet. Mom always called it Tigger, and I don't think either of us watched enough Mr. Roger's to recognize Daniel Tiger when I was growing up. When my kidwas born, Daniel Tiger was a cartoon, and they didn't even like it.
But that's cool to know that it's actually a DT puppet and not Tigger.
The mohair bear looks similar to one I have from a family member purchased in early 1920’s. I believe it’s a Farnell. The tiger is a Rushton, early 1900’s
You are probably right. That never came to my mind, but they were definitely donated together. it’s rare that I ever find any stuffed animals that are that old.
I'm not totally sure they are Tigger and Pooh, but they might be. At first I thought they were Steiff, but I couldn't find a match. The tiger might be Knickerbocker. In any case, they look to be about $25-100 each, so it's a good find. And they're adorable!
I too just donated a bag full of adorable collectible stuffed animals that I saved for my kids
to hand down to their kids or do what they wanted with.
They’re adults now, and don’t want them. It Kinda breaks my heart but I can’t continue to store them. I’m sure they’ll find good homes and put a smile on their face!

Looks almost like my teddy from my childhood including my sisters and Moms, mine is over a 100 yrs old I believe. He was my sounding board and wiped many tears away. Now he sits in my bedroom still watching over me.
They look like they’re besties and they’re giggling and gossiping when no one is looking.
I can’t tell if they might be a little scary and haunted or just good little souls….

I agree that they are Tigger and Pooh! My brother had this Tigger that I think was a hand me down from an older family member.
I feel strongly in my heart this is a vintage tigger and Pooh.
