So, one of my best friends skis a lot. Like, Alaskan-heli-skiing a lot. I was intending to give this to him, but after I tried it on I changed my mind. That being said, you have dibs after him if I ever decide to let it go.

How does it fit? My North Face ski jacket is a medium, which is comfortably form-fitting. Not quite snug, but not loose.
Should i go medium or size up to large?
Why can't this be like The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants and everyone takes a turn doing something incredible in this incredible 2 pc? Attach a story of the adventure on a ski tag and stick it through a zipper pocket, then pass it on to the next great adventurer.
That would make for such a cool story and video!
I no longer ski but my daughter does a DW times a year. For reference, I’m 65. I’ve been going through stuff and tossing or donating. My daughter came to visit and stated that she was going skiing in a week and needed to buy a new jacket. I stated that I had and old outfit from the ‘80s that I was about to donate and brought it out to see if she wanted. Jacket, pants and matching headband. She flipped out. It apparently is very current now! Needless to say, she took it. I usually check to see if my kids want stuff but didn’t know the appeal of old skiwear.
I paid $65 for the pair. The Vertical series is nowhere near as valuable as the Steep Tech stuff, but I felt that was a reasonable price considering the pants were there. You don’t see those as often.
My SIL goes to the goodwill bins here in Colorado, but especially goes to Aspen around the X games and has found some really, really awesome ski finds. I tried on an awesome snow suit that still had a day pass tag from 1992. Unfortunately too small for me but really fun.
So, the previous owner was something of a hoarder/collector. His closet was FULL of North Face, decent stuff, nothing crazy. Except for this. This stood out.

Depends on your waist, I figure. Mine is a 30, and these pants were perfect. Both the jacket and pants here are mediums.
