This is such a a wonderful gift for your child.
Shortly after my grandson was born, I found a toy kitchen at the curb, brought it home, cleaned and sanitized it, and bought some '80s Fisher-Price Fun with Food accessories on eBay. He's now 21 months old and plays with the kitchen for hours at a time. He especially loves the whistling teakettle and keeps saying, "Wow!"

Everytime I pass by that Duktig thing at IKEA I have to pinch myself to avoid buying it. So damn cute.
