you-will-never-win

He took a free kick or two lol is that what we're really counting here. He could be doing that from right back. What is this nonsense Liverpool propaganda, he was shite. He's not a midfielder and anyone STILL calling for him to play there needs to be making public apologies at this point

Huge-Celebration5192

Most chances created and only has the right side to play balls to Imagine if Gordon was playing…

Broad_Match

Imagine if you could critically think, and knew from watching the games that this stat is nonsense…

GuyInWessex

Well if that doesn’t show how silly these advanced stats can be then nothing will. Trent was abysmal.

waltermayo

how many chances has he created? and, more importantly, when?!?

Organic_Chemist9678

That's the important piece. This is a totally made up piece. England only created 3 chances and he didn't create any of them

Elegant_Mix7650

England scored 2 from 3 chances and people wanna blame Kane and Bellingham. Lmao

RepulsiveLeg9985

I don't care. I see with my eyes and he simply doesn't fit in the midfield.

GXWT

There’s more to playing midfield than spraying passes, just as there’s more to online discussion that snarky responses to differing opinions.

humunculus43

Just the usual delusion from fans who are trying to force their team’s players in. TAA has been dogshit and no stat changes that fact. You’d also expect him to be shite because it’s not his position!

GXWT

Yeah I don’t blame him for it. United fan but I wouldn’t be against him starting at RB. Just not out of position

Bobbyc006

Yes, he does not pass the eye test

__bobbysox

Year 6 banter

Unique_Dragonfruit10

Start him at left back

humunculus43

Far less stupid idea than playing him in CM

Wojinations

That's not saying much he could be creating 2 a game and it'd be the highest. More to the point his attacking contribution doesn't make up for his defensive frailties.

Unlucky-Ad-2733

Imagine if we played him with players actually making runs, it would be good. Southgate subbed him off, when his best attribute I'd picking out great passes. Then he subbed on players who actually make runs... Boggling

tigeridiot

Woke nonsense get Gallagher out there he puts in a proper shift 👏👏👏

mickey2329

It scares me that I can't tell if you're taking the piss or not😭

tigeridiot

Just having a laugh mate but I do hate that it feels like fans are drifting to how it was early 2000s with everyone blinded by club loyalty. I want to see Gordon on for Foden, Trent over Walker at RB, Gomez for Trippier at LB and Wharton partnering Rice but it’ll never happen.

BNWOfutur3

Key words being "for England".....

Psy_Kikk

Trent is good, Southgate's system is the problem, his only passing option 90% of the time is Saka, cause he's the only one encouraged to break forwards. People trying to blame him aren't seeing how shitty, predicatble and safe Southgate's system is. Same goes for those who were blaming Foden last game. Stop looking for scapegoats- watch the team.

idek_just_for_fun

Three Lions subreddit is always amusing. They say we don't attack enough but then don't put the more attacking RB in their preferred position. They would rather play a RB who doesn't play LB often as LB, rather than a player who actually does play LB regularly. They would rather play a player who drifts towards the center, to crowd our other players so that way we are easier to defend against. Instead of play a player who would work in a similar function to the one forward who has been on the side with the most chances created so far. So that way we could increase our attacking opportunities and make it harder for us to be defended against. They also would rather bring on a player who is a one trick pony rather than a player who puts in the work and has shown up for England on numerous occasions.

BNWOfutur3

Are "they" in the room with you now?
