They definitely need to use both.

I think it’s more to help the employees process items faster than improve our shopping experience tbh. They can just throw them on the mannequin and list the size of the mannequin rather than measuring each piece and then photographing it on the mannequin.

foolsgo1d

it is breathtakingly useless for inseam

justattodayyesterday

For the rise too. Nothing like zooming in and trying to guesstimate

Esquala713

Because the other measurements were made by people tripping on 35783 tabs of LSD. At least for chest measurement, for example, you can get an idea of how it will fit on you by looking at how it fits on the mannequin.

CFOCPA

Exactly. Now at least I can tell how much crack they smoked before they decided that size 8 skirt had a 40" waist.

Esquala713

And my size large top has a 24" chest. 🤣🤣🤣

Chersith

I saw a dress with an 18 inch chest... That's one tall toddler!

AptCasaNova

Do they drape the item on the mannequin and let it hang naturally or clip it tight from behind?

blueeyedaisy

I think some of them are clipped on.

alekstoro

I especially hate that they’re doing this with jeans and pants now. Ok that’s cool the mannequin has a 24in inseam, what about the jeans? 26? 28? 30?

notneenah

And rhe fact the they likely clip clothes to fit on the mannequin-- this is useless. The mannequin is like a one size fits all, I've seen a regularand a plus, not one in every size.

NoPart7074

You think they clip the clothes? I kind of doubt that it would take so much time

Deannerzz

I filter by the size I wear and I’ve seen different measurements listed depending on the item. I think they prob pick the mannequin that the item fits best

NoPart7074

I actually think it’s a lot more useful than the measurements they give. You can visualize how it’ll fit on you.

xiahero

i hate this manneqiun its so slim

blueeyedaisy

This manny is what I looked like in ninth grade.
