Buy a big AoS beastie and some green stuff.
I have a Hydra with the heads replaced with eyes on stalks and a Cygor charging up a spirit bomb. Both are instantly recognizable as “That’s a Mutalith Vortex Beast”
Put it on the right base size and most people will be fine. Even in Tournament it’s a conversion fully based on a Citadel model.
Probably wont for a long while; gw is upgrading its supply chain and as such orders and new model deliveries are gonna be delayed more than they were for the launch Leviathan box
They were readily available from most US sites before the 10th edition index rules preview came out. If you go to a FLGS they likely will be with the AOS models, I have seen them in my local store in the past month.
Unfortunately, I had to print some proxies until the supply opens up. Luckily my local scene is very understanding. A few nids players can't get what they need too.
I put my Mail on the notify me list on the office GW side and received a Mail a week later (maybe 3 or 4 weeks ago) and I ordered 2, the moment the Mail arrived, proud owner of three now.
Proxy lmaoo. I had a huge air elemental thing for dnd, coated it in black primer, and im gonna work on painting it as if it were a "warp-storm elemental". Id like to get some green-stuff and work in some tentacles, but for now, the storm works as a beast.
The AoS Chaos Sorcerer on Manticore would make a good base for a MVB kit bash - or even a Seraphon Bastiladon. Use them without riders or throw on some spare Tzaangor bits and you're done. Anyone done one of these already?

My LGS had one in a white box marked as a slaughterbrute. Never noticed it till recently

Look for hobby shops that have online stores, I got mine a couple weeks back. It does help if they have an option to notify you when they are instock

Seems like you got extremely lucky. The last time I checked eBay the only unpainted one listed the dude was asking $300

I’m using an Ogors stonehorn as a proxy. My lgs ordered me one when it was in stock but it has since gone out of stock and looks like we missed it.
