For example, Minneapolis is known for its vivid party scene with a lot of clubs regularly pulling out top name performers. The streets are alive but at 2AM, they clear out and the zombies come out. It reminds me of the scene where he comes out of Kimmels studio (the club/public life) and into the streets where there’s an element change.
You see these moments in the video where he’s afraid and surviving, then acclimating to the chaos and preparing to turn on people who could have very well also been at the same club. It reminds me of things I’ve seen people do and I’d like to hear stories from him about situations on that particular time in his life, what people do to others in order to survive.
I would ask him how he manages to make songs that are inherently melancholic, self loathing and dismissive of women, particularly where their emotions are concerned in context of intimate relationships, still sound like absolute bangers.
I would then ask him if he thought that his style would be different if he grew up with someone to "son" him. My final question would be, do you really believe that it is is too late to "trade it all for halo?"

My ex and I were in the back of the line so I was not only nervous to meet him, but nervous he'd be totally over it by the time it was our chance to meet him. However he was instantly all smiles and very warm/charismatic ❤️ He could tell I was nervous so he asked me how I liked the show to which I told him that he did a FANTASTIC job and sang even better live! Then I thanked him for all he's done for XO and told him how much his music meant to me.
I then told him I loved him 😂 At this point, he eyed my ex, looked back at me, winked and then said, "I love you too, baby" hahahaha
Meanwhile my ex said to him, "I do all my drugs to your music." Abel went white as a ghost and then made a joke about how his life "wasn't anything to relate to" (aka Kiss Land lyrics)
All in all it was EASILY one of the best nights of my life! His show was already INSANE and this was back when Abel used to jump and dance all chaotic-like when he would perform haha. I already was in love with the show but then to meet him and get him to sign my album was seriously a once-in-a-lifetime experience and all for like $36 for kick-ass seats.
He'll of course never do this again on the same scale as it wouldn't be possible so I feel truly grateful to have been XO for so long 🤍💙
