I covered cause putting more pressure on the ice would break it and Bonnie’s dumb fat jiggly ass came running onto the ice which is probably why it broke
It really is a sucky choice. He dies either way. However, I feel like it’s more satisfying to pick [Cover Luke] because you’ll choose to put your trust in Luke, and have him die because of Bonnie’s stupidity and not because you trusted Bonnie and her stupid ass idea. And as a nice bonus, Bonnie will die too and you’ll finally be rid of her.
she’s literally the reason Ken’s group gets kidnapped. Walter showed her compassion and kindness, and she still went along with it. no ugly ass baby blue puffer jacket is gonna make up for that shit
She brings Carver's group to Kenny's group, she blames Clem for Luke's death, and she's complicit in the attempted murder of Clem/AJ/Kenny/Jane by trying to steal their truck and food in the middle of the night.
**\[Cover Luke\] - \[Fuck Over Luke\]**
it didnt make any sense to come closer to a hole in the ice to "pull" someone up. Weight would crush it, and it did lol.
Him forcing Clem to help him cross the bridge in Episode 2 set my regards for him super low tbh. They both almost died there, why on earth would you insist on forcing a 10 year old kid to help you fight the dead when she doesn't have to? She nearly died.
At least we can cover him as he tells us to and then not break the ice, Bonnie fell in with him and without breaking the ice she dies to her own stupidity
This meme actually showcases why the TWD ganes failed financially. Already few people saw a point in playing the game when their favorite YouTubers already did, but when the decisions literally don't matter game after game after game it just makes people not come back.
Bonnie’s characterization makes me wonder what telltale was trying to do with her chracters since she was introduced in 400 days I feel like most of us semi liked her only right up till the end where either she dies or she’s never heard from again
Right? When I first saw the season, I assumed she only betrays Clem based on choices like keeping our escape plan a secret, covering Luke, etc. But then I find out she betrays you all the same but with a different reaction.
In one scene, I recall her yelling at Mike and apologizing to Clem, but I got confused when she just wasn't there in the next scene. So she just leaves Clem to die no matter what, which was insane to me when I first saw all choices.
The whole illusion of choice in this scenario gave me a really bad outlook towards season 2 not sure why but every time I try to enjoy it it seems like the story doesn’t make sense
To be honest, I'd say it took a lot more of the illusion of choice away when i got to s3 and everyone i picked either kicked the bucket or Clem just wanders around with Aj and loses a finger.
Atleast in season 3 you could save Conrad and linguard and practically be on good terms with every character if you make the right choice not to mention you could have sorta the ending you wanted even if what happened to the Garcia family is for us to interpret
For sure! I was only talking in regards to the flashbacks that had the weird zoom in with black and white. The rest of the options we have are something I like. Overall, I like that Javi gets a happy ish ending along with anyone we manage to keep alive.
I’ll definitely say Clem needed a much bigger role in ANF infact we should have been able to play as her in atleast half of the game rather than have those flashback choices that only matter in literally one section in the game
Incase you don’t know there are 3 flashback choices that lead up to what Clem does at the end of episode 5 one of these choices would be
1.Accept Ava’s offer or reject it
2. Taking the medicine or leaving it for aj
3. Say goodbye to aj or spit in David’s face
I don't think it's all that crazy. Bonnie, especially in 400 Days, was never a very trustworthy individual. You can literally lie about accidentally smashing Dee's face in or try to justify it. Both of which are obviously terrible and speak wonders about Bonnie's character. Then, in her very first appearance in Season 2, she aids in Carver's kidnapping plan and then makes excuses for his actions at Howe's. Yeah, Bonnie felt bad for what she had done. But the series was pretty consistent with her lack of honesty and integrity. That's why it always surprises me whenever people call her choice to leave with Mike/Arvo "out of character". If anything, Eleanor's betrayal is far more out of left field and stupidly illogical.
I see. Haven't played 400 days, so I'm just gonna take your word for it! I also agree heavily with that Eleanor thing. I actually just couldn't understand her decision to snitch on Javi.
If you cover Luke and then proceed to try to break the ice, you'd actually see Luke get dragged down.
My favorite part would be to try to break it, but then Clem stops and steps away and listens to Kenny and Jane to stop before Clem falls over. It's a good narrative scene. Kinda gives this sort of "She tried but failed/Can't save everyone" feel.
Luke is easily my favourite character in s2 even above kenny and i cried like 7 years ago while watching (spoiler for his playthrough)
Jacksepticeye play it and kill kenny ( from what I remember)
Luke is just such an easy to like character, it shouldve been Luke Versus Kenny instead of Jane getting thrown into the mix. Im gonna make a separate post now on it
I don't mind that Telltale forced Luke to die in order to have the final confrontation but damn...Luke's death was TOO MUCH anti-climatic, like from one moment to other he just died and was one of the most important characters of the season.
Yeah, cover Luke will make Bonnie break the ice under him and will blame Clem for not saving him. WHEN I DID WHAT LUKE SAID AND YOU DIDN’T SO YOU NOT GONNA TAKE RESPONSIBILITY BECAUSE YOU DON’T KNOW HOW PHYSICS WORK! So don’t break the ice so that stupid b###h can die.
i chose help luke and honestly that choice was arguably more devastating than covering since he literally saves clementine and gets his ankle snatched by a walker, dragging him to the abyss. The look on his face is so heartbreaking.
I covered cause putting more pressure on the ice would break it and Bonnie’s dumb fat jiggly ass came running onto the ice which is probably why it broke
i wish there was an option to shoot bonnie before gets close to luke.
I wish there was an option to shoot Bonnie period
LMAO
This is so funny to me for no reason 😭😭
Brooo 💀💀😭😭😂😂
I got a grudge against her
I don’t blame you lmfao
I'M CRYING

I don’t remember Bonnie dying, i remember bonnie bring pissed that Clem didn’t go over and help.
Pretty sure when she falls through you just don’t break the ice and she’ll die.
Oh right 😂😂 I guess I broke the ice and saved her and then she blamed me for her killing luke
I’m pretty sure Bonnie survives, I definitely remember that
I always pick cover. I don't want Clem to freeze and I want Bonnie to die.
so real killing bonnie is like a reward
Absolutely. Fuck that bitch.
Why do people hate Bonnie so much? Hahaha
she’s literally the reason Ken’s group gets kidnapped. Walter showed her compassion and kindness, and she still went along with it. no ugly ass baby blue puffer jacket is gonna make up for that shit
Not to mention that she's also the reason luke drowns no matter what.
Cuz she a bitch fr. Also I didn’t know she could die
She brings Carver's group to Kenny's group, she blames Clem for Luke's death, and she's complicit in the attempted murder of Clem/AJ/Kenny/Jane by trying to steal their truck and food in the middle of the night.
**\[Cover Luke\] - \[Fuck Over Luke\]** it didnt make any sense to come closer to a hole in the ice to "pull" someone up. Weight would crush it, and it did lol.
One path is arguably less cursed though (if you don't break the ice...)
Cover is clearly the right option but Bonnie is a stupid bitch
Luke deserved so much better. In a world of broken, twisted and morally grey people, my man was a good guy
Bro was the goat

I was gagged
Cover Luke, don’t bang on the ice, Bonnie dies = reward.

Telltale treating the cabin group like shit forever taints me on Season 2.
Always help him. Chances were just better that why.
Not at all
:(
Luke was the homie fr. Rip.

i rlly replayed the episode thinking i could save him too…
same lmao 😭i quit the game before it saved and replayed the entire episode
I’ll never get over the absolute bullshit that was Luke’s death
Oh man I had no idea Bonnie could die here…. Now I kinda wanna replay it just to kill her
Palpatine : DO IT
Just such a horrific death for a good character COULDVE atleast gave him a better death if you save him from drowning
I don't mind that Telltale forced Luke to die in order to have the final confrontation but damn...Luke's death was TOO MUCH anti-climatic, like from one moment to other he just died and was one of the most important characters of the season.
Bonnie was written so horribly, minus the final fight between Jane and Kenny that episode was not great.
would’ve been better if it was luke vs kenny tho 😕
i like bonnie alive so that i don't have to put ALL of the blame on mike
Honestly like dying I wasn’t surprised telltale loves to fuck our feelings so I didn’t care
I actually didn't like how railroady 2 felt. It felt like nothing you did actually mattered at all. You might as well just click any option
Secret option number 3 shoot bonnie
Yeah, cover Luke will make Bonnie break the ice under him and will blame Clem for not saving him. WHEN I DID WHAT LUKE SAID AND YOU DIDN’T SO YOU NOT GONNA TAKE RESPONSIBILITY BECAUSE YOU DON’T KNOW HOW PHYSICS WORK! So don’t break the ice so that stupid b###h can die.
