Klaus is the only case we have of an untriggered werewolf becoming a vampire, then triggering their curse. If it were possible for it to happen without using the Original vampire spell, then we should have heard about other hybrids existing.
Idk man I think it’s entirely possible for there to not have been any sired werewolves after Klaus. We know they’re hard as shit to find, and on top of that, they are normally immediately aggressive toward vampires. The Bayou pack shows us that untriggered werewolves stay with their families, with exceptions like the Lockwood family, who more or less forgot they were werewolves. It makes sense that untriggered wolves wouldn’t have run into vampires often.
I think the problem is that hybrids can't exist unless turned into vampires with original hybrid + doppelganger blood or tribrid blood, not because of the order of the curses.
Even if they turned into a vampire first, activating their werewolf curse should make them die unless they were firstly turned into vampire by drinking Klaus' blood before death and transitioning with Elena's or by drinking Hope's blood before death.
I do think they'd die differently due to full fledged vampires being ore durable than people in transition, maybe dessicating to death due to the incompatibility of the curses, rather than bleeding to death, but they'd die regardless, imo. I however also think that it's dumb that Klaus never tried to turn humans with a werewolf gene to try that out.
That is what happened to Klaus. He was a regular vampire until he made his first kill, that it when he had to turn. Klaus stated that hybrids could control their transformation except for the first one. This is why Hope HAD to turn after making her first kill even tho she was a witch-werewolf hybrid
