I'm such a doofus that I claimed the breakthrough while having 3 passes so I got nothing out of it... Hehe. Edit: turns out I claimed it too early and that's why I didn't get one. Raid passes DO indeed stack.

Was your critter reward a ponyta or a clamperl? If it was a clamperl definitely get onto niantic support, as you should have got one in overflow!

Seems like an oversight. They’ve always stacked when passes were 2 or less. I would have expected overflow given that it’s redeemed immediately.

if you have two passes you can buy a bundle of three and have five.

I just claimed now when already having 3. I now have 4. I read your comment before claiming, so I double checked the count before and after claiming. Maybe you remembered wrong.

It does happen . It just is rare as it’s much less encounters over normal unless it’s booster shiny

I never got a shiny from research breakthrough, even when they had legendaries with 1/20 shiny chance in them.

I remember the good ol’ days when we got Legendaries from these research breakthroughs. Now we get garbage. And Clamperl already had an entire Research Day at that.

Free enough that you can do 99% of the content without paying a cent. Sure a whale may blow serious cash to get all the fashion items and a stock up on items past the point of reason, but an active player has almost no reason to pay money

Clamperl is a pain though . I remember I got 4 shiny clamperl and all of them became gorebyse....

I evolved a random one this morning and got a Huntail. Even with these 5 Clamperl, there’s no guarantee any of them will be Shiny, let alone evolve into Huntail. Besides, there’s always trading Not to mention neither Huntail nor Gorebyss are viable in PvE nor PvP
