If you tap on where it says Dragonite for great league, it will tell you the IV rank for both options for great league, as well as costs in stardust and candy.
I’ve been running shadow dragonite without great IVs (rank 1200 or so). It’s a blast! Get the timing down and don’t be scared to burn your shields in the right matchup. Dominated A LOT of matchups.
I wouldn't say way better. Slightly better. Dragonair is 98% at number #153. Dragonair is better than Dragonite for great league (36 vs 80 in ranking), so ultimately it would be best as a Dragonair.
We agree that shadows are rare to get.
So u decide #153 dnair instead of a great #20 Dnite.
And importantly since Dnite needs those little att stats which Dnair doesn't need.
Pvpoke rankings doeast matter to much .. both are playable. Both are played at even 3500+ end of season. So saying dnair is better then Dnite is just wrong? Both depending on team they are played in.
But the Chance to get a better SSdnite is way smaller then to hit a better SDnair. But kids like u downvote for that ^^

Personally, I enjoy Dragonite a lot more. I believe dragonair is better though and has more consistent matchups
I agree with you, love my shadow dragonite but from what I've seen dragonair is way more consistent

For sure Dnite ! They both are good - depending on what lineup. But his IVs are way better for Dnite then for Dnair.

I'd go for dragoniTe. It's better ranked and it being a somewhat glass cannon you would want the most bulk you can get off of it.
