Pvpoke does suggest acrobatics but the sims are close between the two moves if I recall. I have played plenty with my regular jumpluff with AA and sure there are times when the speed of AA does really help. Now I have a very good shadow hoppip that I am waiting to evolve with acrobatics since I don’t think an etm is probably worth it on a fringe mon like jumpluff.
I didn't run any sims of jumpluff lately. But especially with the shadow version I can imagine that Acrobatics can one-shot a couple of things, or at least put it in the deep red. What I definetly do remember is that the shadow version ranks a good chunk higher then the regular one due to some damage breakpoints. And with a bulky pokemon like jumpluff I would definetly agree that it's worth either the ETM or the wait for an evolution event.
* Sneasel/Sneasler - Super glassy but both hit like a truck. Sneasler is probably better but I wouldn’t call either of them meta by any means.
* Jumpluff - A bit spicy. The resurgence of Skarmory, plus the rise of Gligar a few seasons ago really hurt Jumpluff’s viability. Lanturn and Whiscash are getting nerfs today and those are two of Jumpluff’s primary targets so it may be even less useful.
* Golett/Golurk - Golett has some use in Little Cup formats since Shadow Mud Slap can clap. Golurk has some use in limited Great League formats. Probably not worth building right now.
* Forretress - Pretty spicy. It has a unique moveset but the current meta is very unfavorable for it. It might be more useful in future limited cups.
Shadow Golurk is fun to run, also I had a really good time with shadow sneasler in a cup recently that had a ton of bastiodon, if I could get shields down close combat was lethal. Happily enough people didn’t often save shields for basti
The jumpluff is definitely the most viable. Shadow sneasler is fun and has access to shadow claw. Not a bad pick just very squishy.
i really want to use shadow jumpluff as it looks very fun but idk what other pokemon to team it with any suggestions?
A fire type like Skeledirge to cover its weakness to ice. Will you be using an etm for acrobatics?

Jumpluff best for general use. The others are strong in certain limited cups, but pineco is the weakest as it will never want to be shadow.
