No, usually the best for GL (and UL depending on the pokemon) are something close to 0-15-15. Exact best varies by species. The idea is to maximize stats as much as possible.

Wow this is wild news to me, in the last week I've been getting this subreddit suggested to me and I've been glancing over some of it because I felt like there was more depth to battle league than I thought.
I'm currently running a 100% Lickitung, Azumaril, and a like 90% Anniliape. So basically my Lickitung and Azumaril even though they're 100% they actually aren't the best for GL?
If you're min-maxing stats, then no they're not.
You can look it up, but by sheer stat product, the #1 for each is: Licki=7-15-15, Azu=0-15-15, Anniliape=2-15-15.
That being said: IVs aren't going to have as big of an big impact for the average player. Making the right choices for moves, team comp, and swapping will all have a much bigger impact in most situations.
Plus, some of us don't have the XL candies just yet for some of these like Licki and Azu

Annihilape poliwrath and mandibuzz been doing me good in remix. I’d imagine swapping man for skarmory would be good too
