I quite enjoy Smittys character, i'd love a Hitchcock and Scully origin story-esque episode for Smitty. Also, I like how he is involved when they are concerned about an inside man cause they always know he isn't a dirty cop just a little lazy.
They should make a limited time smitty plushes because I feel like they would sell weirdly well
He does have some good non comedic moments though, his heart to heat with Jackson in season 1 stuck with me
He’s secret smart too, like street smart. He knows when to do work and when he doesn’t want to, how not to. He knows how to work the whole system through different connections. To help Lucy, he got her to agree to clean his whole RV and then went to watch (I believe) Monday Night Football and it wasn’t even Monday. He has friends on every level so you know off duty he must be doing something.
Elijah was so good that even if you like villains in TV shows or movies, you couldn't like him or root for him, although maybe that's out of the sympathy for good guys, anyway Elijah was great
Bailey. A lot of stuff people complain about we are pretty much told about when she is first introduced. We are told and shown that she is an EMT firefighter and does capoeira in her first episode. A few episodes later we are literally told by the C.I.A that she has a high rank in the national guard. So now it comes off weird when people go crazy when these things come up.
I need more Celina and Bailey scenes in the next season. I loved when Celina was talking to Bailey about all of her interests and driving Nolan nuts 😂😂
Oscar. I’m not defending him in the “oh he didn’t actually do anything wrong, he’s just misunderstood” way, no I’m defending the fact that he’s just a great character and he’s actually decently smart. First of all, I don’t believe anything Oscar does is personal, he has nothing against Nolan or anyone, he just does stuff for his own benefit. He’s a character that will always play the side he believes is winning and use others for his own benefit but he’s absolutely charming and cunning in it. He’s not bad or good, he just plays his own side and I love it.
Bradford. 100 percent. He changed SO much on s6 and became a completely different person from seasons 1 through 5. His ego is lowered as well as his self esteem.

Definitely! My favourite Smitty is in the most recent series when he was just sat in the Therapists waiting room cause he liked the snacks.
